Just came back. Our first trip with our daughter.  Only gambled 10% of what I normally do hours wise due to our daughter with us. I don't like the idea of leaving her with my wife while I play.

So my gambling was when she fell asleep at night to the early AM and witch with Mrs. CMO. The 1st night, Mrs. CMO didn't want to play as she was tired, so I played from 2am-630am. Went back to the room and slept till 10am when our daughter woke up.  So the entire trip, I sacrificed sleep for gaming.

Compare this to "old Vegas" when it was just Mrs. CMO and me. Catch the red eye so we dont' miss an entire day. Land at 7am and go eat and check in later around 12pm. Take a 4-5 hour nap since we didn't sleep on the plane.  Then wake up at like 5pm and have the rest of the night to play. Didn't get to nap this time due to our daughter with us. So lots of coffee.

Casinos still wasn't precovid busy. But Venetian gaming floor was just as busy as normal, even precovid days.

The reason why I didn't want to leave her with Mrs.CMO and I go play is becuase she's very active.  Running and touching eveything.  Plus enjoying the sounds and lights of the slots. So maybe when she gets older and knows how to not run off, we would go back with her. Then I prob could break away to play or vice versa and Mrs. CMO goes to play.

I'm hoping Fertitta treates Caesars properties like how he does Stations.  Take care of your customer.  We were at Caesars last Thanksgiving to try Beijing Noodle No.9. The food sucked. THe slots were empty and I was the only one at the craps table at 3pm. Had maybe 2-3 on the BJ table. $25 mins. More people walking through than actually playing. Compare this to Venetian at the same hour is at least 3/4 full of gamblers on tables and 1/2 full on slots.

Harrahs is 1/2 full tables and slots about 1/3 full at the same hour.

They also redid their tier levels and not for the better. Their credit card is lame, free parkign for the 1st year only, compared to MGM Rewards credit card, you get free yearly parking by spending much less.

Rumor has it People Inc (The magazine) is looking to buy MGM.

So this all comes down to the gaming reports by the casinos are being padded. You don't buy a company when they're doing well, as you have to pay top dollar.

I like the Gold Coast.  I haven't played craps there in about 4 years and it's nice to know that it's still $5.

I did visit 2 years ago and we ate at Ping Pang Pong.  Busy, noisy, but the food was good.  The service is typical ethnic Chinese.  Rude but they don't mean to be rude.  It's just how they are.

By the way, I just got back from a trip to Vegas.  Got back this past Monday.  It seems like Vegas is still as busy as it ever was.  Didn't seem any different.  As far as the pricing yes, it has gone up but for me I am on vacation so the pricing was expected.

Ate at Genting Palace at Resorts World ($88 per person).  Food was good, especially the Peking Duck.  The crab legs and lobster were mediocre the legs were watery and the lobster was fried in batter and tasted blah.  The fish maw soup was awesome, the shrimp cocktail were huge and good.  Oysters tasted like mud, lol!

The Wynn Dinner Buffet was just spectacular.  Everything.  Just spectacular!

Ate at the IN and OUT located on the Strip.  It's been so long that I've eaten there I forgot how the burgers tasted.  I wen broke da mout. :shaka:

I lost my a$$ at the craps tables.  Cal was $10, Main St. was $15, and Fremont was $10.  I dunno why but on Father's Day Cal and Fremont raised it to $15.  Fackahs. >:(

I played the Bonus feature at the craps table, the all small, all tall, and the all.  Hit the small and tall several times (pays 31 to 1)  Good fun!  Several times all we needed was one number to hit the ALL (151 to 1) but it never hit.  I played those bets two way, meaning I also bet for the dealers alongside with me.  The dealers get so excited when we place bets for them on the bonus.

I like go again but I have to wait a while.  I lost too much money, LOL!

I have an uncanny record for hitting bets when I cash out.  I'll take a random amount off my cash-out and wait until the next come-out.  I normally bet on 11, since that also sends good vibes to the pass line bettors.  Other times I'll put it on the pass line.

More often than not, 11 rolls which wins on either bet.  But, there are times a 7 rolls, making the pass bet the better call.  The dealers actually wake up at that point, shocked that their one-roll YO bets won.  If a point is established, they still have a chance for that number to repeat on the pass, so I'll stick around and see if that works out.

Sometimes it's more fun when you aren't betting for yourself.  Those chips are gone regardless.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

The ATS has bad odds to win,but it entertains me.  I made the decision a few years ago to always play it.  B4 I would play every other 7 that rolled, but then it would often hit when I'm not playing it. So after that happened so often, I decided to either play it or not at all.  It sucks cause I don't play the pass line, so when a 7 comes, I end up losing money. 1 time Mrs.CMO threw 3 7's.  So then I bet big red for $5 and she rolled 2 more 7s.  THen she finally established a point.
