1892 pages (granted some people wrote or submitted testimonies that were longer than 1 page.
pages 357-473 were testimonies from 2018 for SB2046.
pages 1289-1477 and 1525-1580 were all written exactly the same, 243 testimonies written exactly word for word, all in favor of SB3196 (kinda reminiscent of ballot harvesting "votes") Feels like someone made phone calls or asked people if they were against assault weapons, and if they said yes, someone filled out a testimony for them.
243 in favor testimonies in a row was written as follows.
"Dear Committee Members,
I'm urging you to protect Hawai'i residents like me from gun violence by voting to prohibit all assault weapons, including high-powered semi-automatic rifles that shoot over ten rounds. They're designed to kill as many people was possible, and there's no reason they should be in our communities. Please prohibit assault weapons.
