Recap for those who cannot watch the hearing.

Komrade Rhodes stated, this bill is  balance between a knife and like a bomb. It draws the line on what people shouldn't own. No, that isn't correct. SCOTUS decided "in common use" draws the line. And with 24 million of these types of rifles in legal ownership in the USA, this is why SCOTUS ruled. Komrade Karl is acting like a dictator and so is their commitee. We don't listen to what the people want (majority of testimony was against the bill), instead we do what we feel is needed for our own reasons.

He also stated no one goes hunting with a 50 cal cause you would destroy the animal.

The committee skipped some testifiers due to "running out of time".

"The Veteran" was there and so was the "suicide" daughters mom who was on zoom.

I'll post the count later.

From here on, how do we improve on how we can go against this? Cause this bill has to go through more hearings correct?

"The Veteran" was there and so was the "suicide" daughters mom who was on zoom.

I didn't watch the video yet but heard "The Veteran" and his story about carrying an M4 and it made me wonder what his job actually was? If I had to guess it would probably be something involving psychological warfare. You could really hear the animosity coming out of his voice when he referred to our side.

So I looked up Chris Marvin Everytown since he is on their "advisory council" and found the Marvin Strategies website. It looks like a freelance marketing outfit, but who knows with all the trillions getting thrown around these days? His bio says he "served for seven years as a U.S. Army officer and Black Hawk helicopter pilot" and he was combat wounded but that's about it as far as details.

Anyway this was on their front page. Kinda creepy if you ask me. Also he's on a first name basis with legislators. He got a "thank you Chris" from Wakai at the end of his testimony.

"Dear Committee Members,
I'm urging you to protect Hawai'i residents like me from gun violence by voting to prohibit all assault weapons, including high-powered semi-automatic rifles that shoot over ten rounds. They're designed to kill as many people was possible, and there's no reason they should be in our communities. Please prohibit assault weapons.

I don't think anybody would show up for their side if that Soros money wasn't getting splashed around.

Common use means common use. Period. The state's "historic" activities are illegal. So if I have a "historic" record of crime, I can now get away with it?

A 2a case from CNMI establishes precedence that "assault weapon" bans are unconstitutional.

Not like this matters since local judges say constitutional law and protection doesn't cover Hawaii.

Karl Rhoads catfished my idiot loudmouth 2a supporter buddy into divulging his home address and other P.I.I. under the guise of helping him then took the info. Anyone want the emails and social media chat logs? Also, why does Rhoads supposedly live in Chinatown but do everything in "nicer" places like Manoa? It seems that N. Beretania condo he claims as residence is a lie.

Everything about Rhoads is a lie and sham. Why do we keep voting him back in?

We have the best chance ever to kill the bill if it makes it to it's next commitee (JDC). Rhodes and Elefante are solid aye votes. Awa is a solid no vote. Gabbard is most likely a no vote. Buenaventure is the swing vote. SHe represents Puna and if people from there can contact her prior to the hearing to get her to vote no. Years ago, for her it was automatic to vote aye for anti 2a bills. Recent years, she's voted "aye with reservations", which is still an aye vote. But it's something. 1 bill she voted against it, it was the bill reducing lending a rifle from 15 days to like 3 days. She asked good questions relating to hunting and the bill. Which leads me to believe that hunters in Puna contacted her. She took a lot of time to ask HPD questions, which is not the normal. Asking HPD questions is normal, but she was talking for a while.

I'm only on page 1000 and notices a lot of women opposing the bill. Usually gun bills are like 95% men. This one seems like 60% men.

Maybe more men are identifying as women now?

81 million regrets.  Too late now.  Damage has been done.  And in only 3 and a half years.  Incredible.

RE: Hawaii Friends of Civil Rights

This group is primarily concerned with black civil rights and idolize Martin Luther King.
They see his assassination as a reason to ban guns....however----

King’s application for a concealed carry permit in Montgomery Alabama was famously denied by the local sheriff’s office.
He was deemed “unsuitable;” that is, he was a Black person who wanted to defend himself and his family from the violence of racism and white supremacy.

I hope somebody knows Amy Agbayani and tells her to rethink her stance.

Shes right, we dont need guns, the government will protect us and keep us safe, just like they did for MLK.
