What would be the point of the whole bill?  I does nothing that they want.

I think they will be going for our throats, because they have seen and proven that the brainwashing media works very very well.  And it is working, no doubt about it.

what would be the point?  what was the point of the original AWB?  feinstein wrote the original one too.

nothing more than to piss off the gun industry, the gun owners and the gun lobby.  it made people feel good about themselves while accomplishing nothing.

the only thing an assault weapons ban does is discourage more gun owners by making costs prohibitive.

i have a patient that is a sargeant in hpd ask me "what would you do if someone came to your door and said, "'we're here to take your registered weapons'?"
i told him with a straight face "i would say,'they were stolen'"
then he asked, "then they will ask, 'if they were stolen, how come you didn't report it?'"
i said, "i just found out right now they were stolen"
then he asked, "what if they say, 'can we come in and inspect your house?'"
i said, "my answer would be 'no'"

he didn't say he was impressed with my answers, but he didn't continue the conversation, so i assume he was trying to teach me something, but found out i was more on it than he thought

So,  With the inevitable coming soon, what method do you think they will use to come and get your stuff,  assuming you refuse to turn it in and avoid so called 'legal' confrontation?  Local LEO? National Guard? Regular military?  Will those that are employed by these organizations even follow the orders, which in my view goes against the oath taken when indoctrinated?

If you are associated with said entities, how do you feel, your fellow associates, your commanding officers? (you may get into trouble for this, so if you wish not to comment, I understand)

They'll probably do it by ratifying the UN Small Arms Treaty. It'll be a way to circumvent the Second Amendment. And the only way to disengage from said treaty is if the other signatories allow us to withdraw from it - which will NEVER happen.
