If I'm reading this bill correctly, EVERYONE must check ID's before giving any ammo.  Even to grandpa's.  The bill doesn't say "if they look over 30, then no need".

This also means, if you let someone shoot your gun, you must check ID's.  Also, no tossing mags to your teammate during exercises unless you checked their ID first.

He kept the ammo locked seperately, but she still had  unrestricted access to the gun?  Why wouldnt he keep the gun locked?

I speculate that he didn't say it in the hearing because they are officially recorded? and making up stories to say to the media isn't.

21 to own a rifle.  Think Hawaii is the only state to do that.  Under 21 can be loaned a rifle, though even that they attempted to take away a few years ago.

18 yr. olds can handle firearms only when called to defend and die for our country.  Otherwise no dice.

21 is the new ammo ban law.
18 is the current gun law.
18 yrs can join military and shoot machine guns.

So basically, we have conflicting laws and/or ideology.
