Biden's X account announced his withdrawal from the campaign on Sunday.

Three days later he went on national media to explain why he quit.

I listened to his speech 3 times, and the only reason i can discern from his words is:

I was forced out by the party even though I knew i could win.

That tells me his party as a whole believed he was not able to win.

There have been lots of political pundits and media types speculating and offering an opinion, but I need to hear it from the proverbial horse's mouth.

Anyone else find a rational, logical and official reason for his campaign to fold their tents?

Actually, they've known all along.  She was a complete flop in the 2020 campaign that ended in Dec 2019.  She was selected from all the VP candidates even after she called Biden a racist for voting against forced busing when she was in school.  Why would they choose her, then, above someone else?

3 reasons:  Female, not Caucasian, and not afraid of playing the race card even though she's not even Black!!

Competent White males with better judgement and accomplishments need not apply.

Another way to say it is the current loser isn't losing by as much as the previous loser.

I'm not blinded, I'm seeing what options I have and picking the best one.   Trump is worse than Biden.   Only way I would vote for him would be if the other option was worse.  Let's say if it was Putin vs Trump. I would vote Trump.
