Schofield range - 12ga
« on: September 15, 2024, 02:17:13 PM »
I’m applying for a federal job at Pearl Harbor and a friend mentioned that I could use military facilities…like the shooting ranges (and golf courses :-))

I’m only aware of 3 shooting ranges Schofield, Puuloa and Kaneohe

Schofield is the closest to me.  Also, one of my friends used to shoot trap at Schofield when the Kokohead trap field was closed…..so he has some familiarity with Schofield.

For Schofield, could I shoot 7mm-08 &30-06 out to 300yd and Grendel out to 250yd?

Does Schofield allow paper targets at HD distances to check patterns for buckshot?

Does Schofield allow closer papers targets for 9mm ARs? (Like HRA fun shoots at kokohead)

I plan to pay the $100(?) to avoid the 12 hr community service (read Mrgaf’s post about that)

I like Kokohead and still plan to shoot there with my friends.

Thanks in advance!!

One more thing…

Things have REALLY changed with the bad experience I had. Very proactive top to bottom, new website and great folks.
You’ll like it there….IMHO best place to shoot in the banana republik!👍🏻
