That man in the women's navy dress uniform and that bald thing in the green dress is the result of the 2020 (altered? ;)) election and why Trump has won in 2024.

WE THE PEOPLE like to go to clown shows but we don't want one running the country.

This pick will surely shake things up in the Justice Department.

I don't know much about Matt Gaetz but certainly there is a lot of stuff floating out there on the internet on his past actions and confrontations with both political parties.

And I for one know there is a lot of crap in that stuff out there, along with the truth.

But one thing's for sure.  He has shown his loyalty to Trump many times over.

Would love to hear more about this appointment from forum members who I consider more in the know than I am.  I invite all perspectives to this latest appontment from President Trump.

I learn a lot hanging around this sub-forum.

Tulsi is getting a lot of good reviews from local politicians.  Governor, legislators, council members, even her past opponents.  Except for one.  Guess who?

U.S. Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) criticized Trump for the pick.

“Along with many of the nominations Donald Trump has announced thus far, the nomination of Tulsi Gabbard to lead our nation’s Intelligence Community reflects how unseriously the President-elect is treating positions of critical importance and trust,” Hirono said in a statement “With each new nomination, Trump is making even more clear that the only thing he’s serious about is running our country into the ground.”

In my opinion DEI and Woke crap have no place in the military.

Unseriously?

Tulsi was in the running (at times) for highest positions in the USA.  Hirono would never even sniff a shortlist. . .

If you can't lead well, you criticize.  Why the people of Hawaii can't see that is

Tulsi ran for President.  She was a US Representative for Hawaii for 8 years.  She's been in the military on active duty and reserves for 19 years.  She helped Trump win in the biggest landslide election for a Republican in decades.

Tulsi replaced Hirono in the House after Mazie won her Senate seat.

Prior to that, Mazie lost the Hawaii governor's race to the first elected Republican governor here since 1959.   Mazie was the first Lt Governor I've seen who didn't get the governor's endorsement when they announced their campaign -- he endorsed Mayor Jeremy Harris instead.  Only when Harris suspended his campaign did she get the endorsement, but it was too little, too late.

This has more to do with Tulsi switching parties than anything else.  After losing to a Republican Governor, she now sees her successor in the House abandon her party and play for the other side.  i only expect bipartisan attacks from her regardless of who the Republican is.  Mazie is slinging arrows at someone who isn't just sitting back in her cushy government job living the life.

Tulsi still has much more to offer the country.  Mazie is an embarrassment to the state and to the nation.  i cringe whenever she's on the news.  I can't wait for her to fade into obscurity.

Bobby for HHS.   :shaka:

Wonderful news, but I'm also sobered that a lot of people are about to get the bad news of what the covid vaxx did to them.

Big time lawsuits. Big time meltdowns. Big time population decline. Ever wonder where the 15 million Democratic voters went?

The survival rate of myocarditis is 50% in five years according to the latest Cleveland Clinic study. If your'e in any doubt get your heart checked out.
If you dissolve your enemies in acid, technically that's turning your problems into a solution.

I'm excited for RFK and to see what he will do.  The USA uses artificial coloring, where many countries like Canada and in Europe ban them. Makes you wonder why big companies would make 2 versions of their product, 1 with fake coloring and the other without.  So it can be done to eliminate fake colors.

Hey, don't you be knocking my Hostess Sno-balls.   :grrr:

You'll still be able to buy those.  I just wish/hope they do something to balance to consumer cost of more healthy choices with the unhealthy ones.

Why does it cost more to buy a canned good with the salt NOT ADDED than one that contains added salt?  I realize companies will just raise the prices of the less healthy versions rather than lower any prices to match, But, the market still dictates which brands they prefer.  Five or ten cents less for one healthy choice will cause the others to adjust prices to compete -- all things being equal.

Right now, they are basically taking advantage of anyone trying to eat more healthy or have different dietary restrictions like hypertension or diabetes.

Hopefully they set up an online suggestion box so these kinds of ideas get consideration.

I'd like for someone to make 2 trips to a supermarket.  In one, get the standard things people buy -- the cheaper selections.  Then take the same items but make them the healthier choices.  Find the items with less added salt and sugar, healthier sweetener alternatives, less "bad" fat, lower calorie or sugar-free versions, etc.  Compare the cost of each buggy, and see whether it's significantly more expensive to select the healthier buggy.

First 3 nominations where decent or even good.  But the last 3 are beyond bad.   Tulsi has many questionable ties to dictators and Russia.   Her statements makes her not fit. Just like RFK. 5g doesn't cause cancer....
