Is anybody else just a little disappointed that Trump didn't nominate RFK to be USAG?

That would have been the best thing ever!

FYI, he was father to 11 children.

just saw this, Mr GnG expresses some concern that Pam Bondi isn't that great for due process, and supports some form of Red Flag laws.  I only caught the gist of that.  She has some history.  Would have to see who gets that FBI nod, and the ATF nod.

6-minute video for those with shorter attention spans.

Not to worry.  There are no federal red flag laws.  As the AG, she only gets to enforce existing laws.

People seem to want to disparage nominees because of any opinion they can even if that opinion has nothing to do with the job.

I won't worry unless she starts pushing Congress to make new red flag laws.  Unless Trump tells her to, i don't see that happening.

IMO.

Right on cue ...

Many of Trump's cabinet nominees now have open FBI investigations -- not on themselves, but on the many bomb threats and SWAT-ings that have occurred since he announced his nominees' names.

I'm pretty sure it's not White Supremacists and Nazis causing it.

That's the plan, I believe.

Of course, the MSM and dims in the Senate say he's "...poised to use the position to seek retribution against Trump’s perceived political enemies."

potay-to, potah-to.  As long as the people fighting against Trump from within are weeded out and held accountable.

"seek retribution" is their code word for getting rid of weaponized DOJ corruption.

I actually want to see that any low level agents who were "following orders" also get fired. They knew everything was a witch hunt. But career over freedom/rights.
