Radical Lefty Journalist Taylor Lorenz Experiences Consequences

If you didn't see the horrible comments she posted, including celebrating the assassination of a healthcare insurance CEO and then posting the name and picture of another healthcare insurance CEO hoping she'd be next, you should go find those commentaries.

The 1A doesn't protect you from being fired unless the speech is protected under the Constitution.  Too many people calling themselves journalists think they can write, speak and share anything and it's all protected -- from any consequences at all.

Vox Media splits with ex-WaPo reporter
Taylor Lorenz after explosive comments on
UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s murder

Quote
Vox Media is ending its deal to distribute former Washington Post reporter
Taylor Lorenz’s podcast and YouTube show after the journalist made a slew
of explosive comments about the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson,
a source close to the situation confirmed.

Semafor scribe Max Tani, who first reported the news, revealed late Sunday that
the controversial tech columnist had a short-term partnership that is set to expire
at the beginning of the year.

Lorenz took to social media on Monday ripping the report as “100% false,” claiming
media reporters “lie” about her as she vowed to discuss the situation on her podcast
this week.

Was this story really a lie, or is she using the drama of her situation to drum up more viewers?  Based on her history, i'd go with the latter.

When VOX thinks you've crossed the line, you're probably so far beyond it you can't see the line anymore.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
