awa was the deciding vote in committee for the .50 cal ban
he voted yes because he made a deal with rhoads to do it in exchange for his ban on foreigners buying real estate bill getting a hearing
so the bill advanced to the house where they amended it to it's current state...

Hopefully he learned his lesson after this

Not only was Awa stabbed in the back, but they tried to make him look like a traitor to his constituents.

This was a trap specifically designed to take him out and unfortunately he fell for it.

The only bright side is that now Rhodes and Tarnas have publicly revealed themselves as total slimeballs.

Here is something sad but funny. EVERYTOWN for gun safety is running an ad featuring a picture of a girl's ass to attract viewers.

Hopefully this is a good lesson and we need to support AWA.

Per the AG"s report on non-profits or like, ET has spend thousands in Hawaii. Compare this to the NRA that has spent zero.  But still, we're all paid by the NRA.  I'm still waiting for my check (sarcasm).

I just paid NRA a hundred for instructor recertification.
I had to take a pretty difficult test also.
My certs expired during covid since everything had shut down.

I wouldn't throw him away just yet, but I'd definitely take the opportunity to remind him why it's a no-compromise issue.

The version I sent was signed.

I sent it to every senator and representative. I got a couple replies back already so it must've gone through, at least to the reps.

Very good.

I forgot to also mention that the rifle can never leave the state as you cannot bring it back in. So any out of state hunting, competition shooting, smithing, cannot ever be done.

Is that true?  If it's already registered with the state, you aren't "bringing it into the state".

It's already here.  You're returning with it.  Place of sojourn still applies for places to keep, right?  That includes sojourning to another state if you intend to return.

You're taking the letter of the law too literally, I think.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
