The typical deep state response to getting caught in a massive scandal is to offer up one or two low-to-mid level scapegoats to take the fall.  There's almost never a complete investigation done -- at least not one that goes beyond naming anyone other than the scapegoat/s.

There's a new sheriff in town, and her name is Pam Bondi.  i anticipate this will not be the usual cover-up.  Heads will roll, hopefully of all those involved.

Tump's people are actually limiting what is released then claiming someone within the FBI is hiding the real documents. This would provide cover for not releasing documents if Trump or his friends were mentioned. It could also allow Trump to perpetuate the theory of some deep state working against him.

Lets think logically. THe left has been looking for anything that they can to get Trump.  Wouldn't this be 1 of the items that they could use?  So by default, I will assume Trump wasn't involved with children.

The "deep state" is a fabrication by Trump meaning there was never an avenue to democrats using said documents against him
or
The documents list Trump and other important democrats so they weren't going to release it
or
Someone on the list has dirt on Trump so Trump wont risk releasing all the documents

Wrong.  You haven't been paying attention to what's been happening to those who support Trump and don't support them since 2016.  Here's a hint, they could redact everything but Trump, then keep him locked up like how they did with the J6 people and Eddie Galleghar (SEAL). Deny/limit outside contact, which was done to both.

Whether the deep state is real or not, whoever might be on the list, it is possible that the Trump administration is stringing it along for his gain by pretending he is trying to release it but having it withheld so he can claim forces are working against him. It would be a clever tactic to employ given how much his supporters believe in the deep state claim.

I mean, instead of arguing about things, you could take this approach.  Like how you doubted how trump acted during the Zelinskky meeting.

I would rather see people prosecuted for this than to see any documents.  Epstein is the only guy who trafficked children to no one.
