What is hpa? Airguns?

The proposal now includes removing sbrs and sbss from the tax stamp scheme as well as hearing protection.
People are trying to figure out if that means they still have to be federally registered.

....
Oh yeah...suppressors.
The reason why high powered airguns came to my mind was because I saw a guy shooting a pcp rifle in 38 cal. He said it can take down pigs.
My neighbor claims he can hit animals at 100 yards with his pcp gun.

I’ve heard it said that suppressed sbr with subsonic ammo is comparable to a high powered air rifle

Any truth to this?  How?

Good now to remove all the wasteful tax cuts for the rich.

Define wasteful.

Define rich.

Are you happy with all the wasteful spending the current tax revenue is spent on?

Government is not free.   It must be paid for.   The rich should pay more.   They should lower the taxes on the middle class and raise it on the rich.   If you make more than 1mil a year,  yes you should pay 38%+ on all earning above 1mil etc

Spoken like a true Bernie Sanders socialist.  How about AOC.  Got her pic on your wall?

The way government is handing out money to illegals, career section 8 mommy factories, and lazy demographic entitled losers playing the race card,

You would think all of this crap was free.  Easy for government to do when the money is not theirs to begin with.

Maybe if we streamline this bullsh*t everybody, including those who, through their hard work has built a better life for themselves and their loved ones, can all enjoy tax cuts.

The current administration is working on it, but it will take time.  After all, the previous administration was a clown show and all it did for 4 years is enable the lazy and the entitled to the point where we have a sh*t mountain of spoiled brats.

Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

So, it's your position that government has proven itself to be a responsible steward of the nation's tax revenue, and it should therefore be rewarded by entrusting them with even more of our money to spend?

Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" just passed!

Law goes into effect 90 days after Trump signs it which will likely be tomorrow, July 4th.

Suppressor, SBR, Short Barrel Shotgun, and AOW tax stamps will be $0 -- i.e. tax free.  Does not apply to automatic weapons or Other Destructive Devices.

You're still required to file a Form 1 and to register.  But the financial barrier has been removed.

All good stuff!

As for passing future 2A gun rights in the Senate going forward, we should put the pressure on Thune to fire that parliamentarian, we never needed one to function in the Senate, another useless federal overreach planted in our senate since the 30s!

The more I read about our Federal government the more i realize there was a lot of corruption going on back then that we just let slide to this very day! NO MORE I SAY, now is the time for Trump to corral the Republicans together annihilate these outdated policies and plants that no longer apply, and we are nearly a century overdue!

Happy Early Independence Day!

Happy Early Independence Day!

The tax and spend, corrupt, self-serving ways of the Dems in the mid-1900s thru today became for the GOP, "If you can't stop them from playing those games, might as well join them and get some of the gravy yourself."

Those bad examples of how gov't functions are so ingrained in the system, and so many politicians benefit from it, it eventually grew into the Swamp.  It takes an independently wealthy man like Trump who didn't make his wealth through government "service" to try to make a dent in all those decades of status quo.

We have to take power back from the career politicians.  Until every elected official is limited in how many terms/years they can hold office, this is never going to be fixed.  The longer they are in office, the bigger their influence to stop any efforts to remedy what's actually wrong.
