GG&G BENELLI M1 SUPER 90 CHARGING HANDLE AND TACTICAL BOLT RELEASE UPGRADE (Read 9076 times)

Just a couple of pics, did the install in my kitchen in about 30 minutes. Well worth it.  Makes finding/releasing the bolt really quick and painless.

New bolt release on left, old on the right. Big difference.

Charging Handles old and new.

Installed

Nice!  The stock charging handle was not very ergonomic.  Are you planning on running a side saddle?

Yeah, nice upgrades.

I've heard a few people against running side sadles because it can screw with the action. Not personal experience though. I'd rather use da kine that fits over the buttstock.

@JAYDAWG and 2AHAWAII.

I have a side saddle on this shotgun. I have had no issues with the action. Action issues associated with the side saddles for M1S90s are usually due to over tightening the bolt/nut that replaces the receiver roll pin.

This one is from TACSTAR. http://www.tacstar.com/. Never had it drop a shell. It is high impact plastic attached to a metal base plate.

Mesa tactical makes some very nice sidesaddles, but the installation requires drilling/tapping on the M1S90. Later Benelllis (m2, m4, Nova) do not require it. Mesas saddles are milled, so they are a tad heavier, BUT very nice. Some have rails with them.   They make all kinds of bling for your zombie gun.
