Civil War 2.0 Kickoff Nov. 5?
« on: November 03, 2025, 02:14:14 PM »
Is the Nov. 5 “Trump Must Go Now” action in Washington designed to be our time’s Fort Sumter moment, to kick off Civil War 2.0? The organizers behind it are the usual suspects: George & Alex Soros’s Open Society Foundation at the hub and spin-offs such as the Tides Foundation, Revolutionary Communist Party, and Refuse Fascism doing the logistical grunt work. . . buses. . . snacks. . . signs. . . brickbats, frog costumes. . . .

Below is a quote from an interesting article - what do think about the question he’s asking below?

Would encourage folks to read the article - it’s very to the point.

“The question is, can communist subversion be defeated without using “authoritarian” measures? Is a constitutional republic equipped to deal with this kind of threat? When someone wages war on your society internally, is there a way to fight them while being civic minded? Probably not.

What we are witnessing in the US and Europe today is, in every way, a Marxist/Communist insurgency. It’s difficult to determine what stage we are at in this war. We have moved well beyond the stage of propaganda and mob influence into the realm of political violence, with multiple assassination attempts and terror attacks against civilian targets.”

- Brandon Smith

I personally think it can be lawfully (within our Constitutional protections) excised from it’s power base (I.e. the tax money they steal from you and me to fund their war on us), but over a long and painful period of time.  I believe the reason is that a firm majority in this country have finally looked into the abyss and said “No More.” - However, that long and painful time will consist in ever greater balkanization between the states: I.e. collapsing blue shit-holes versus free states, so maybe not much better than a kinetic solution …

Interested in folks point of view on this.

I heard they are planning on stealing the wheels off of police cars.

If so I'm sure the cops will work tirelessly to catch them.
I’m becoming clinically undepressed and thinking about beginning it all.

Wow!  That's probably your best post of 2025!

i read a story once of an addict trying to sell some crack to a cop ... who was in uniform ... standing next to his marked patrol car ... in front of the police station!

When asked why he would choose to approach the cop to sell to, he replied, "I sort of knew i was taking a chance."

This stealing of cop car tires seems like a similar situation.  You don't target the people who will arrest you for taking their tires.  It's a whole different level of stupid.

A "war of ideas" is always going on, it ebbs and flows.

Is there a way to fight them without being civic minded? Yes but even if there wasn't, resorting to violences to fight the war of ideas throws away everything we are trying to protect. It is akin to tossing out the first amendment in order to protecting our rights, maybe we win over their ideas but we still lost. Sometimes democracy gives you leaders you don't like but you can't prevent that without giving up democracy.

Then it's a good thing the US isn't a democracy.

You sound like a Liberal who argues that it's immoral to use deadly force against someone who means to severely injure, rape or murder you.  If killing is wrong, then it's wrong to kill someone to prevent them from murdering.

That's an ancient philosophical debate, but the truth has been demonstrated time and again throughout history.  People who choose to kill the people they hate forfeit their own right to exist.  Any other stance encourages murder for self enrichment or satisfaction.

That is wrong, as I have pointed out before, but either way a pointless and meaningless distinction for this issue.

You sound like a fake patriot who pretends to care about the values of the constitution but only cite them when convenient.

If you can't convince a society to a better structure without resorting to violence then what does that say about your supposed better way?

Please elaborate on what you think my "better way" would be.

Your long absences force us to re-read a month's worth of posts just to figure out what the hell you're referring to. I didn't want to read your hogwash the first time.  I'm sure not going to rehash your hogwash a second, third and forth time just because you want to dredge up old posts to reply to.

Maybe try quoting the things you're arguing againts so we at least know where the demarcation between what you believe we said and what we actually said lies.

I am not saying what your way would be, I am only referring to whatever you would propose as the alternative. So if you have "communist subversion" on the other side and you are trying to resist it, the "better way" is whatever you propose as the alternative.

My long absence? This thread was only a half month from the last responses, I read it and responded to the OP's post. If you don't want to read my "hogwash" then don't and don't bother responding.

I did quote what I was originally responding to.
