PSA no longer shipping to Hawaii
« on: April 14, 2026, 10:22:30 PM »
I had a big cart full of items last night and when I went to checkout a message popped up saying "due to rising shipping costs we are no longer shipping to Hawaii" blah blah blah "must send to freight forwarder".

What a pain in the ass. Shipping gets charged to me anyway, what do they care about rising costs? I already sent a letter to customer service and I got a lame automated response of their new Hawaii shipping policies.

Since customer service didnt help im gonna try their social media pages to get a human.  I'm hoping some of you guys can join bugging them to so they reverse this new policy. (Not sure how long it's been in effect I havent ordered in a while).

Now im all sick im missing out on $2 AK mags ☹

yeah, when I went to check-out for my rifle, I got all these warnings that because I live in a communist state, they would delete the other-wise-included 30rd window PMAG, no discount or compensation.  I checked their shipping restrictions, and it says the usual about "No Handgun Magazines with a Capacity over 10 rounds", but I wanted that rifle at that price, Free Shipping (ironically), so the mag-deletion wasn't a deal-breaker for me, got "sufficient" mags already.  It's an annoyance.  Didn't feel like arguing that point with "Corporate".

part of the "cost" of living in Hawaii, putting up with The injustices foisted upon us by our elected non-representative government, by the people, but not for the people.

I ran into this too recently. They won't ship anything to Hawaii without going through a freight forwarder. BUT I don't think that applies to FFL items!

So they won't ship me a rifle kit but they'll ship me a lower or a complete rifle.

SEC recently became a PSA dealer.  You may want to check w/SEC too see if they can bring in your guns.  PSA won't ship standard cap mags even though SEC sells to LE, however you might just save on shipping and support a local business at the same time.

We are so lucky to live in paradise. Our government officials protect us from mass murder with 30 round mags. It happens every day, right? It's a huge problem here.

I guess that's why all my friends and relatives have moved away to other states. They were terrified of being killed by ak47 rifles with 30 rnd mags.

I'm also lucky that our government officials have stopped me from buying cigars by mail order. They always know what is best for me. The fatalities from fine cigars are staggering.

Yep, when that little pissant signed that tyrannical bill preventing us from buying cigars or pipe tobacco, that was actually when I knew I’d be getting the off this rock in due time.

Acts like this make it perfectly clear that we are considered inmates, not citizens, and that the junta perpetually allowed to rule here - the communist plantation owners who took over from the preceding colonialist bunch - are as dangerous to our safety as the Khmer Rouge was to Cambodians.

They’re just more incremental.
