Things are worse than you think. PSA will deny you buying magazines in-person at their retail stores in a different state by checking your ID and checking their online compliance page for your home state. Vote with your wallet, don't shop there until they change their policies. This reddit thread was about a Maryland resident trying to buy magazines at a PSA store in South Carolina. Maryland's law is you can possess, but cannot buy hi-cap mags in Maryland.
PSA now denying IN-STORE buying of magazines for people from ban states?https://www.reddit.com/r/MDGuns/comments/1tgog8h/a_psa_about_psa_magazine_sales_to_md_residents/ I was traveling south on i95 and stopped at the PSA store in Florence SC. Picked up two 15rd magazines and a 10rd - Proceeded to the cashier.
Cashier asked me for my ID, to which I presented it. She then said "Maryland, oh boy" - Looked at a sheet and said, "I can only sell you 10 round capacity magazines because you have a magazine restriction". To which I laughed, and asked if she was serious, unfortunately she was. I didn't argue or debate it, I just wrote them off immediately as Anti-2A.
PSA will never see me as a customer again, just a heads up for MD residence hoping to get magazines.
*Edit* - Take note of the multiple replies in this thread of those who have been denied a magazine sale in person at a PSA retail store. Do with that as you wish, I hope you spend your money elsewhere.
