"Reading is Fundamental?" Not anymore.

This is not new problem, but it looks like it's getting much, much worse.

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

I never did social media until after I retired a few years ago.
I noticed many people can't write either.

The dumbing down of our youth works very well toward enabling the leftists agenda.
Communism works best with large numbers of poor and uneducated people.
It does not work so well with a well educated and independent population.
The schools used to teach this back in the day.

Keep people dumb and unable to support themselves and they will be dependent forever.

I loved to read and write when I was younger.  I read everything and anything.  I loved reading so much that I would read with a flashlight under the blanket when mom told us to go to bed.

I don't think young ones even know what a flashlight is nowadays.  They just use their cellphone if they need light.

I still prefer a good book over TV or the internet.

Ever since they started using Ant Font (letters only ants can see well), I've had to take pics on my phone and enlarge almost every user's manual, serial number, model number and instruction label I needed to read for the last decade or two.

I keep a plastic magnifying card in the kitchen just so I can read the Best Buy dates and instructions on most packages.

Keep staple gun unloaded until ready to use.
Treat every staple gun as if it is loaded.
Always keep staple gun pointed in a safe direction. Do not point staple gun in the direction of anything you do not want to staple.
Keep your finger off of the trigger until you are ready to staple.
Know what you are stapling and what is behind or beneath it.

If you really want to torture someone, staple guns are a really great option.
