The ID would've looked 100% better if they used a blue background.   Not sure why they chose pink which makes it look unnatural.  I don't think you can see a rainbow at sunset.

Nevermind I guess there are rainbows at sunset, but they suck.

I just got the new license about 3 weeks ago.

I needed to update my address, which you can easily do online.  Just go to the DMV website and fill out the application, print it, sign it, and send an image of it to them.  It's quick for them to update your info in the DMV database.

Once you receive the confirmation letter, it comes with a paper "temporary" image of your old license with the address changed, so you can still keep using the old ID if you want.

But, if you want the new info updated on the plastic license, you have to submit another application, pay a $6 duplicate license fee, and wait "6 - 8 weeks" for them to mail it to you.  Mine took about 5 weeks.

Mine has the Veteran logo on it since the DMV has my DD214 on file. That's come in handy a few times in getting a veteran's discount at a few places.  However, the logo saying "Veteran" is so small, I had a hard time pointing it out to someone else.

You're supposed to update your license info with a new address within 30 days of moving.  Since I didn't have a vehicle at the time, I waited to change it while I was waiting on delivery of my car.  There was no penalty for waiting as far as I can tell, but if a Cop were to stop me driving a rental or someone else's car, the mismatch might have been a problem..
