Mark Smith touched up on this helping the Scotus awb case.   These were machine guns converted to semi and actually used in the war.   Now they're being sold to civilians with government approval.

This has been a long time in the making as it was attempted before but past administrations didn't want it released to the public as they were built as select fire weapons.  I think there are some in public hands prior to 1986, some still select fire and some converted to semi.

USGI M14's are a boon for us - what a rifle!

Since it straddles the world between classic "gunsmithing required" and modern standardized plug and play component-based arms (like the M16 that shoved it aside so rudely), a whole bunch of them hitting the market will certainly help the gunsmiths & parts manufacturers out there, and I suspect LRB, Fulton & James River will do just fine too - maybe even prosper - that's good for everyone.

An American classic that they thought was wholly superseded - but were dead wrong in places like Afghanistan, and now Ukraine.

Last rumor I heard that some may have the Sage EBR chassis and some may have "National Match" conditioning. Anyone know if there ever was USGI double lugged receivers? Perhaps on team guns?
