Hawaii Five 0 - Joins the Anti Gun Lobby!

I was watching the show last night, I was vaguely paying attention. Fast forward to a scene where McGarrett and Danny go to a specialty gun shop to track down a custom bullet, and Danny starts going off on the guy about nobody needs guns like that, he only carries one out of necessity, blah blah blah. Oh yeah, and the owner can't track the ammo because it's not something he's required to track by the gov't.

Same old left leaning BS. Hip slick Danny vs the gun shop owner, portrayed as a past middle aged corn fed nerd with thick glasses. Of course, later in the show Danny has no problem picking up an automatic weapon to go after the bad guy.

Never watched one episode, and I don't intend to start.  Remember how the filming crew set up on top of graves at the National Memorial Cemetary of the Pacific (Punchbowl)?

Peter Weller is the special guest star aka ROBOCOP

If you notice in the backwall behind Norm there was a Robocop Beretta Pistol on the wall.  Also the director of this episode is the Robocop director.

No mystery here.
Local people watch it to see:
1- friends or family on tv
2- places that they are familiar with that are woven into the plot
3- amusing name changes
4- Alex or Grace (whichever tickles your pickle)
5-marketing gimmicks like the redux of "Hookman"

"Mainlanders" watch it because:
1-Beautiful scenery, bikini shots, and somewhat amusing dialog.
2- Alex or Grace (whichever tickles your pickle)
3-Marketing gimmicks like "vote for your ending" (east cost only)

Personally, I do not watch this show, but only because at 9pm I am dead tired and forget that it is on.
However I did want to see the this last episode because of the SEC tie-in.
I'll watch it now off the cbs website.

but I only watched a half an episode and thought it was DUMB! Writers need to study a bit more about what really happens in the real world. OK, that didn't make sense :wacko:
