nice!  Have you gotten a chance to shoot it yet?

Yes got to shoot it last Friday. Most fun I have had shooting in a long time. Actually prints on paper pretty good at 50 yds. I picked it up from GrabAGun in Texas.

Been hoping for a deal on a Colt Python for a couple of years.  Prices have skyrocketed (thanks, Walking Dead!)

Manufactured in 1978, maybe 80 rounds fired before becoming a Safe Hobbit.  Finish is 99.9% with just a slight scratch under the cylinder release, and such a faint turn line it's undetectable without close scrutiny.

Unlike all the ones I find for the same price on Gunbroker, this one was never carried by LE, so no holster wear on the gorgeous Royal Blue finish!

This is probably the first pistol I've ever bought with no intention of ever shooting .... at least until the Zombie Apocalypse begins!

I'll be contacting Colt Archive Services soon to get a letter detailing the official specs on it, just for my own enjoyment!

So proud of my new baby!  :D

Nice colt python. If I ever decide to buy a wheel gun, this would be the one of the top to get for me.
