Volquartsen Scorpion 22LR  with Aimpoint T-1 (2MOA) on Larue mounts.

Took 7 months from ordering.  Picked up today.

Nice, now you just gotta find some Ammo ;)

No... The action and barrel is a savage fv-sr... The original stock was tiny and I wanted a more full size feel...

Where did you get that stock from?

The stock is a rhineland arms stock, I ordered it before reading reviews of the company which were pretty negative. I was concerned but after contacting them the original company was bought out and moved by troupsystems.com.  After ordering this I received it within a 1.5 weeks so I consider that pretty good for hawaii shipping.  The quality was surprising considering it was 152.00 shipped (they charge 15.00 more for it finished in black with grip texture) it's made of walnut and the fit was excellent and free floated the barrel.  The only thing you need is bottom metal-trigger guard/magazine plate, they make this style for the mkii savage, cz and 10/22.

Went to the eye doc and he confirmed that my shooting eye has presbyopia. Recommended a +1.5.
Just got a +.25 lense from Bob Jones and the front sight is clearer with less strain.
I'm 40. :-\
We'll see at the next match  :P

Nice!  Did you need a special slide to get the RMR on it?
I think, therefore I am armed.

Thanks .

The CORE series is factory milled to accept optics. CORE stands for Competition Optics Ready Equipment.

Originally wasn't  looking for a CORE or even a Pro series, but couldn't pass up the deal.
