get or build one of those 3d printers which can print out new 3d printers.  they run about 1-2k a peice but after you print out 3 or 4, you will be in the green if you sell them as well as 30 round mags.

if you really wanna do lowers right, get a cnc desktop unit and just dl the autocad's off the internet and then encode them in to g-code to cut them out.  they only cost about 5k+ a computer.  BTW:  80% lowers you can legally sell to anyone and before (6 months ago) they were only 70 bucks a pop but now they go for like 240-300+ a pop!  crazyiness

If you get a CNC you still need the forgings to mill out a lower right?   I'm surprised there aren't any MIM poly blocks yet to use as a base paperweight.

How does the printer print out a printer if a printer could print printers.  ;)

The problem is in the bonding of the plastic and The way it is layered together makes it weak.

But it is great for making a lower that can go in a mold.....hmm!

and then inject the plastic....

Why pay for the forging (80% lower)?  with a cnc mill you can mill out the entire lower receiver (of an ar15) out of a block of aluminum.

It's kinda' like the cast vs. forged wheels decision.  B
ut we are talking about plastic lowers too anyways.
