finally got around to painting the 15-22.

Barreled Action work done by Long Rifles Inc. (LRI). Chambered in 308 22" Bartlien barrel 1:11.25 twist, 5R. Remington short action trued, bolt fluted and tactical bolt lift. cerakote in graphite black. KRG X-Ray stock.

I like the X-Ray chassis it has a aluminum V-bedding but everything else is polymer, never weight the complete set up but I would guess maybe 15 to 16lbs as is. bare chassis weight is 3.1 lbs. Review of X-Ray chassis http://8541tactical.com/2015/01/16/kinetic-research-group-x-ray-chassis-review/

The XLR Element stock is good too and you can use AR style grips and butt stock.

After doing some additional research, I cancelled my order for the Manners MCS-TF2A (20-25 week turnaround), and placed an order with XLR Industries for an Element chassis (3 week turnaround).

Gotta say that, so far, CS @ XLR has been everything that I've read about on other forums... Nick has been super helpful and responsive.

Definitely looking forward to July 15th!
