I know this is kind of a strange request,  but I was wondering if I could pay one of you guys to meet me at the range and bring a bunch of different types of handguns and let me try them.  I'm just trying to broaden my horizons before making a purchase.

It's not a strange request.

Most guys here would let you shoot your stuff so long as you buy your own ammo.

If you chose to take the L.I.F.E. handgun course be prepared to wait 5 -6 weeks for your affidavit.  I've taken the class on May 12, 2013 & have not gotten it yet.  If I knew this,  I would have gone somewhere else.  There web site does not specify this time wait.  I have left messages on there contact number.  A woman called me twice to say it would be within a week.  Still, to this day no affidavit in hand.  Highly recommend going to OGC, Security Equipment or X-Ring gun shops for handgun certification class.
