UPDATE  5/8/2013:  SOLD OUT

I wonder if they have any more stock that needs to be logged in or if that was it on the 91/30's. They should have M44's in stock any day now, too bad I'm craving an M38.

Regretting selling my m43.  Maybe its just the empty space in the safe teasing me.  Time to look for a tula or a Finnish..Hopefully one comes up for sale that I like.

Been looking at the reviews on buds m38s every day for a month. I had to somehow stop myself from ordering one. Then midway sent me a notification this morning that Glock 30 mags were in stock, bought some of those even though I don't have one yet.

Bud's has a no-risk, money-back guarantee.  When you go to the FFL to pick up the rifle, check it out completely.  If you are unsatisfied with the purchase, simply refuse delivery from the FFL.  Bud's will pay for return shipping and issue you a refund.

My new Mosin just arrived today from Bud's.  OGC was closed, so it will be delivered tomorrow.  I ordered a 91/30 so I will have a range gun in place of my Tula Hex.  I want to prevent any damage dragging it to and from the range.

I paid $70 less from Bud's.  The gun and shipping were both much cheaper than my GB purchase.  I'm anxious to see if the quality is actually "excellent", which is the description on the listing:

http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/411540200/Mosin-Nagant+M9130+7.62X54R+Excellent+Condition

I'll post pics and give an update this weekend.

This makes 2 @ 91/30 and 2 @ M44.  :)

Bud's has several listings for Mosin rifles.  One is for Hex Receiver:

http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/411553240/RUSSIAN+HEX+Mosin+Nagant+M9130+7.62X54R

So, I ASSUME they keep the Hex rifles aside for that, so they can charge $20 more!

I notice they don't list the Hex rifles as "Excellent Condition", and at least one reviewer stated the condition of the rifle he received was not very good.

Before you go crazy and order a batch of 20, intending to keep just one, make sure you have your C&R (so there is no chance of having to pay that FFL), and verify with Bud's whether all costs are included in the guarantee:  shipping both ways, any credit card fees, etc.

Bore has very strong rifling.  Needs a thorough cleaning before I can tell how shiny.

Crown looks great!  Muzzle appears counter-bored, but very slightly.  Bullet inserted down the muzzle has some wiggle, but not excessive.

All 4 numbers on the rifle match ... no forced matching or strike-outs!  The only mismatch is the bayonet.

The quality of this gun for the price is unbelievable.  I'm a BudsGunShop.com fan now!!

Hello everyone, new guy here. Wasn't sure if this is the right place to post I am I interested in buying a mosin and was wondering if anyone knew if any stores locally had any. I checked OGC and they had one. Just didn't want to drive all over the island looking for them.
