A City to Move to?

The Wife and I have been thinking of Moving away from Hawaii to a more gun friendly area.

Maybe this is a possibility?   http://www.gunbarrelcity.net/

Then maybe I can get this:

I've given that thought too, but then I ask myself if I would really move to the mainland just for gun reasons and all.  I know there are other pluses too though.

Quite honestly, the politics in Hawaii Suck

The Wife is Tired of the Anti 2A politicians here.

She's been involved for as long as we've been married.

Just had hip replacement and she's just about had it with the Anti 2A establishment.

So have I.  Shooting is not FUN any more for the both of us.

Too much work involved just to go to the range.

I've been thinking the same thing......Hawaii's 2A issues are a real bummer!!  :(

But for me it's not just the 2A bull$hit, but also the idea of sustainability. If things ever did get REALLY bad and SHTF I know I would not want to be on an island. I'd rather be home, in NW Montana. They have great gun laws and there's plenty meat to shoot at...lol!!

My wife and I are considering moving as well.

It is the whole political enviorment for us, guns, rail, etc.

I am trying to tell my daughters as well. My youngest is a college grad, and has been a teacher for about 4 years now.
With what she makes and the housing cost, I don't know how she is going to do it.

I love Hawaii, but not so much the state of this state.

If everyone who doesn't like "something" about Hawaii decides to leave Hawaii, the only people left will be those who like it the way it is.  Which is not a recipe for change.  If you flee, you're part of the problem.

Just sayin'.
The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.

This island chain has been under Democrat control pretty much since statehood.  The "Plantation Mentality" of the general population, that the government is here to take care of us, keeps the Democrats in power.

The few conservative voices in the state get piled on top of by the unions and by Dem candidates demonizing them by association ... most recently by invoking the name "Bush".  I'm still trying to understand why Obama was reelected!

What's the Governor's great accomplishment in balancing the budget?  Raising taxes!!  How the heck did he EVER come up with that wonderful idea?  Genius!!

Never try to teach a pig how to sing.  It wastes your time and annoys the pig!  Trying to teach Hawaii to stop depending on government will happen .... right after the pig finishes singing "Tiny Bubbles!"
When only cops have guns, it's called a "police state".

What Tom says is true.

The Wife wants to do things she can't do here.  She can on the mainland.

I just want to go to the back of the house, roll open the shutter and SHOOT on my backyard firing range.

The Governor and I were at UH together.

He is a Pot Smoking Hippie Anti Establishmnet PITA student then and STILL is one NOW as far as I am concerned.

Pig sucking off the government tit.

People should ask just how many Pay checks he's getting from all his years in government.

yea teachers pay in hawaii is brutal. most of my friends from school that teach all moved. the few still here need to teach community college courses after school on the weekends or summer. pretty sad how little teachers make overall but especially here.
