Pin missing from AR10A4 gas block?

Silly question, but look at this pic. You can see through the pin hole that locks the gas tube. All youtube videos show a solid pin being tapped into these and other AR gas blocks. So again, silly question, but is it possible this was pinned with a tubular type pin, that would explain seeing through it? I thought all pins for gas blocks are solid. Similarly, the pin next to the two set screws - on the bottom of the clamp, on the receiver side - is "see thru" too, though you can't see it in the pic due to the angle.

As far as I know all AR gas tubes are pinned in with a "hollow" roll pin.  The pin ate the bottom of the block is the pivot for the sling.

The hundreds of ARs I did have tension roll pins.

Solid pins offer no tension.

Oh that's for the sling....got it.
Yeah I watched many vids for gasblock installs and always heard 'roll pin' tapped in with a 'roll pin punch' but of course you can't see the hollow on the vid; they always looked solid....woops

I think  you're mistaken with the pin which holds in a pinned gas block. Gas tubes are held in place with a roll pin. To ease your mind, here are pictures of my factory Armalite gas block.

Yeah you're right. I was confusing videos I saw and what they showed pinning a gas block and what pins a gas tube. Got it now. Thanks for the pics too. Makes it clear.
