Hey gang Kelly Moore at Moore's Tactical Coatings referred me here to this forum. Hopefully you will welcome me with open arms. I don't have any real steel guns anymore, but have taken up the hobby of airsoft. Now while these guns are not real steel guns and don't fire actual real bullets, they can be dangerous if used in the wrong fashion. So, I have recently had one of my guns Cerakoted by Kelly and the finish came out awesome. I will be posting pictures of it as soon as I get it back from the shop that is reassembling it and I will also be having other airsoft weapons Cerakoted by Kelly in the future. So stay tuned. That is hella cool...I couldn't do it, I'd be scared shitless that I would forget how to land or something and wind up eating the earth. I almost put in my Rotary wing packet in the Army, because NOTHING would be cooler than flying rotary wings. But apparently the Army said I was to old regardless of my score on the AFAST. 

The only other "hobby" I have besides guns would be home audio. 2 channel stuff, no surround sound. Also an expensive hobby, but at least once you buy the gear, being able to use it is not nearly as expensive. I would relate the gun hobby almost to drinking or smoking. Costs alot of money and you really don't have anything to show for it. At least the ammo that is. Guns that you cant shoot aren't as much fun, though I do enjoy the mechanical aspect of it. Taking them apart and seeing how all the parts work together..etc..

Seems like the rest of my time is spent up fixing things...

With a wife, 3 kids, and work....it's hard to find time for another hobby, besides shooting sports.....ok, maybe some computer game time, and internet forums...like 2ahawaii...

I was into sportbikes.  I really enjoyed the knee draggin action up on the road to Haleakala.  But gave it up when my son was born.  I will be doing this again soon.  I have always been into old air-cooled VW's and drag racing.  That is something I will never give up, just take time off from it every now and then.  Before diving into firearms I was into large 5th scale 2 stroke weedeater engine equipped RC trucks with my son.  Between both of us we have 3 running and could build 2 more from the spare parts laying around.  From the looks of it, I usually go deep into each hobby for roughly 6 years before I jump into something else.

i fell you on that one. same story. 3 sons a wife and a career leaves little room for hobbies.

Cars, bikes and trucks were always a passion.  I just sold off my last street bike (1KRR) and sold off 2 of my mustangs.  Picked up dirt bikes for me and the kids, which is the newest hobby.  Been out of the dirt for many years but now that my kids are at a good age, it was time to get into a motorsport that we can all enjoy together.  I am still poking around for another project car.  Some old school muscle probably.
