Notice, Police and /fire always get their raises.

The regular City workers get the shaft.  Mayor Always wants to do More with less.
   What the City really needs is Less Admins and more workers.  See how many low paid city workers they can get
   for the Administration jobs.  I don't see them cutting back upstairs or takeing up the slack downstairs when a older city
   worker Retires.  New workers don't know half of what the retired guy does or how to get things done.

And people wonder Why stuff never gets done.

Not only did he get things done, if things went wrong, He took the blame, never shoveled it off on the low guy.  Unlike now......

bushmasta55,  I used to live in Kalihi.

Now I get to see the Presidential Motorcade at least 2X  day.  Just had all the refuse containers checked out by HPD and their dogs.  Do it Every time we put out a container.
   Plus, ALL vehicles parked on street get checked out and officially "tagged".

We have 0 potholes here.   My neighbor told me this morning while we were waiting for the motorcade that they are moving
out before New Year's Eve to Lanikai.

Police presence is good even without the President visiting.  Patrol officers are almost Always giving out Speeding citations.

Their home is 3 bed, 2 bath, with pool, 6' moss rock front wall, 2 driveways, remodeled and re-roofed last year.

No idea what they're asking.

It sux cause you try avoiding a pothole and automatically hit another one....lol.. They fixed some of them by the Hickam Airforce Base cut off..they filled the holes with cement...

I saw a pothole over on Salt Lake that I swear a homeless guy was living in. He had the shopping cart and all in that thing...glad I swerved to avoid it.

Stupid, insensitive me.  (Bad night's sleep, lousy breakfast, got a flat on the way in to work... not in the best of moods.)  I sarcastically asked one of those folks in downtown Denver how much he paid for his shopping cart.  He did not get it and I immediately regretted it.

Hey, listen.  Except for a couple of lucky breaks during my lifetime, I could have been pushing my wordly possessions around in a stolen shopping cart, too.
