I wonder what will happen to the price of copper now if the Military grabs it all up for bullets.
Just started wiring my house, Darn! :(

I am guessing brass will be ridiculously priced as well since its made from copper. Better start stocking up and saving your cases as well.

On an other note Ive heard that the non lead proprojectiles they want to switch to are not accurate for sh*t.  So I guess we'll be spraying and praying to beat the enemy too.  It makes sense, since it seems like the military has gone away from insisting that our soldiers be expert makrksmen.  It seems like they just teach the very basics, and it is up to the grunt to take the initiative to learn how to shoot well, if they want that skill.  Just what I have heard and observed....

Who cares about accuracy?  So long as our troops are LGBTTFMLPAM friendly & accessible; so long as we can 'save just one' afghan desert scorpion from the ravages of lead poisoning.....then go green bullets......OOrahh!!!

Well that is good, I guess we will just not worry about the depleted uranium rounds we use? FFS!

Didn't this happen 3-4 years ago when M855A1 was first fielded in Afghanistan?

This is the sort of stupidity that makes me want to punch myself in the nuts over and over again.
I'm just a fluffy white bunny rabbit who lost his way.

I don't believe you.

Prove it.  :o

You have nuts? Damn it. I was hoping there was a middle-aged gun loving temptress on this forum (i.e. cougar).

She has nuts now.

Lol, you're not the first one to think that.  I have a Beretta Cougar, which is a now-discontinued pistol.  I like it as a firearm, but I sure wish I had thought my forum handle through before I signed up with it.  Is there any way to change a forum name?

Don't change your name.

Some day an 80 year old cougar will pick you just because of your forum name.
