Impressive ballistics from 277 over 3000 fps with a 113 grain bullet out of a 13" barrel. Solid gun and handguard. Full auto fire and no one complained about the barrel heat.

I have never been deployed and had to clear a room.  But I wonder if this is better at room clearing than an M4?  Then, gotta factor in how often does a soldier have to clear a room vs an outdoor engagement where this would excel over a 223/M4.

Would this also be the new debate (9mm vs 45acp) 223 vs 277?  20rd mag, you don't need 30 rds.

Impressive performance and the full auto looked controllable for a large caliber.  Essentially taking what is .270 performance in a 22" barrel down to a 13" barrel.  The cartridge was developed to defeat body armor and for long range performance.  It'll have a bit more stopping power.

I see a bunch of disadvantages:

A lot of performance is lost on squishy targets using FMJ

A lot of muzzle blast without a suppressor

More cartridge weight/less capacity

Cost of the rounds

Burn out barrels quickly, especially on full auto.

Impressive but I don't like the idea of a bimetal casing...

I like the other one he did recently. SHooting a .277 full auto but very controlable.

i wonder if he got burned, so that's why he's wearing the gloves...

Nope because:
1. He a pro.
2. Range not far.
3. Rifle is modern with no FSB
4. Handguard used is not a pool noodle and bought from TEMU.
