I want to collect rainwater, but I don't have rain gutters.
Anybody here does raingutters?
It's best for old farts to avoid ladders.

I don't know what they cost, but my neighbor had those seamless gutters installed.  Pretty amazing to watch.  A "magic van" that seemed to have an endless length of gutter that the installer pulled out until it was the right length.  He cut it and installed it without having to deal with fastening and sealing any joints.  Not sure how the downspouts and end caps were installed.

That was years ago, and they still look nice.

I have these type of gutters and I prefer them.  Looks nicer. 

I also have a rainbarrel catchment system so I can collect rainwater to use in the garden.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

Design a system of collection and hire some kids to build it.
I live on catchment, it is easy
Not cheap, but you can ignore the government BS.
