Can't say that is a shocker. The only reason I could consider voting for Trump is for gun rights. I still plan on voting 3rd party this year but that is also considering that Hawaii votes always go democrat anyway.

For starters, because of the electoral college and the way Hawaii votes democrat anyway I don't think it would matter in electoral points whether I voted Trump or 3rd party, Clinton would still get out electoral votes.
#2 is is that I don't accept the false dichotomy of only two choices. We have alternate choices in the 3rd party candidates and we would take them more seriously if media gave them some attention. But the media, conservative and liberal alike, want you to believe that there are only two candidates and that you have to vote for one or another. If the media gave more time and consideration to 3rd party candidates then maybe we would have a 3rd option. If enough people looked beyond the media brainwashing and considered a 3rd party candidate then they would be a viable option. It is like a cruel self perpetuating cycle where everyone tells you that a candidate does't have a chance so you don't vote for them, which then shows they don't have a chance.

I don't consider Trump an outsider. He is still an insider, just from the other side.
If you look at bribery, there are two sides. The side making the bribe and the side accepting the bribe. Both are equally responsible and culpable. Trump is just the one making the bribe and Hillary is the one accepting the bribe. Only difference is that Trump basically admits to his participation.

Since Hawaii will go to Clinton anyway I think my vote for a third party won't negatively affect Trump anyway. That way I can vote against Clinton and lend legitimacy a third party as well.
Even though a 3rd party candidate might not win, I look at it this way: Maybe my vote will lend legitimacy to a 3rd party now which will result in a 3rd party being an actual contender in future elections. I am considering future possibilities for candidates, not just the ones here and now.

If this is about the latest ABC poll it's BS. It was a "weighted" poll, with all the weight on the democrat end. They biased the poll on purpose to make it seem like the Hag was out in front. You just can't believe the rubbish that the networks put out anymore. Every "random" poll that I've seen or participated in has Trump far in the lead, and the properly done weighted polls call it even or within the margin of error. Just the people I talk with here in this state gives me the impression that Trump will win by a large margin. Even hardcore democrats don't trust the Hildebeast.

Most (all?) polling is questionable in accuracy and subject to the advocacy of those paying for the polling. In the recent Brexit polling up until the very day of the vote the polls showed the "do not leave the EU" side winning by a narrow margin. I even saw stories afterwards about people shouting "unfair" because the polls were wrong, as if had the polls indicated the real outcome (leaving the EU) more people would have gone out and voted to stay in the EU. Absurd.
The next president will appoint between 1 and 5 Supreme Court justices, who if they are relatively young when appointed and approved by the Senate, will likely serve for 30 or 40 years. If those appointments are by Clinton or whoever replaces her should she get indicted and convicted (never gonna happen even though she likely is deserving) then the Second Amendment providing any significant meaningful protection for the right to keep and bear arms is more or less done for a couple of generations, maybe forever. (Banning various "assault weapons" (all semi-autos) will be merely "commonsense gun safety regulations" enacted for "public safety" and there will be no right to own such dangerous weapons, even if they had been (wrongly) "in common use for lawful purposes"... i.e. Heller was wrong, etc.).
Now, given that Hawaii voters will overwhelmingly (60% to 70%?) vote for Clinton/Democrat does who you vote for for president here in Hawaii have any effect on the outcome of the Supreme Court appointments, etc.? I'm going to (unfortunately have to) say "NO". There is some possibility that local choices for state and county offices could make a difference for local decisions, and that would be where your vote might "count". I wish it weren't so, but unless there is some unimaginable (to me) catastrophic event (what?) that would cause the Dem Drones to wake up and actually apply critical thinking skills to the issues (even then they could still decide Dem on various issues, including 2A if they simply don't want anyone to have guns, just "because"...), Clinton will win here in a landslide (possibly the most lopsided of all states). And if some of the small minority who would have voted for Trump in a binary choice decide to vote for another candidate or not vote at all it's hard to see how that will make any difference. :( :'( :wtf:

And if there was anything a President could do to ban guns, Obama would have done it already. Although Hillary does have bigger balls than that wimp.

Two and half times as many Dem voters. Clinton only got 30% of the vote and she still got almost twice as many votes as Trump. Trump's no Reagan. Landslide (in Hawaii). (Pure speculation).
Reagan lost the Carter in Hawaii in 1980 45% to 43%. Hawaii was one of only 6 states to award electoral college delegates to Carter.
Clinton would have far more leverage than Obama if she gets to appoint several (or even one) Supreme Courts judge(s) and effectively gets even the relatively small gains of Heller reversed.
I seriously doubt there would be an all-at-once all-gun confiscation. It will be "incremental" as we constantly see. Some firearms and accessories (magazines) have already been confiscated in New York and California. It'll be a steady drip of tax, ban, retroactive ban, etc. of one weapon or weapon "group" ("assault weapons") after another until in 10 years there's not much left except .22LR revolvers, and those will have to be kept secured at a registered range (See: England, Australia, California, etc.).

We don't know how Trump is going to be in office, because he's never held elected office. Hillary has been in government since Bill was governor. We see her record.

The scariest thing is, Trump could get 100% of Republicans' votes in November, and Hillary would probably still win due to the number of electoral votes from majority Democrat states.
If Trump can't get a few swing states to lean his way, Hawaii casting it's 4 votes for Trump, however unlikely, would have zero impact.
13 D states give Hillary 247 votes.
20 R states give Trump 206 votes.
The remaining 7 Toss-Up states only represent 85 votes.
The magic number to win is 270.
Hillary only needs 23 Swing votes to win, but Trump needs 64 out of 85!
This all assumes the current political climate and scandals don't flip a few states from one party to the other similar to when Reagan won. It kind of makes me wish our 4 votes could be flipped to the "R" column, just to make things more even.
What's interesting still is how not one single state is predicted to go for a third party or independent! But, I guess 99.999999% of us already see that without having to be convinced! :wave:

The whole 'spoiler' argument is nonsense. Either you have the right to vote for anybody you want or you don't. People who try to explain away your rights have been infected by a zombie virus that was spread by the political elites in order to keep the population docile and in control.
That said I think Trump is going to take it. The more the media attacks him, the more popular he gets because people are increasingly fed up with the status quo that the media tries to sell us. Clinton is about as status quo as you can get, and I'm sure a lot of Democrats out there would rather stay home than give her the opportunity to start World War 3.

If 2A rights are even remotely important to us our vote should be inline with one that holds that right with high regard as well. This election could possibly dictate a trend in the United States that will affect several generations over many many decades. While Buttcrack Obamass did not or could not advance gun control (banning) in his presidency and possibly Hilliary may or may not be able to do the same; having the agenda pushed on the weak minded sheeple voting public could eventually cause just that to come to fruition.
I am not speaking to any one particular person here but making a general appeal to long term sensibility in our decision regarding this voting season. So don't go getting all kine sand aggravating your vagina over this OK!

You're so naive. She's already helped overthrow the leaders in Libya and Egypt, and the Arab Spring uprising was a direct result.
The lack of backbone and competence our leaders have shown the last 8 years, our change in foreign policies and the telegraphed withdrawal from Iraq have destabilized the region. We have also aided the Syrian rebels which gave birth to ISIS/ISIL.
If she replaces Obama, she already promised to continue the same policies.
I believe WWIII is MUCH more likely to happen before any Second US Civil War.
