Title: Plastic straws illegal in CA
Post by: changemyoil66 on July 31, 2018, 06:24:17 PM
10 inch AR barrel identifies as a "metal straw".

Or an illegal immigrant selling/giving plastic straws. Liberals head explodes.

Drinking a acai straeberry drink feels funny with no straw.

California is already poised to pass laws prohibiting the use of 3D printers to produce illegal plastic straws.

Once all these prohibitions go into effect, I guess anyone buying plastic straws would be charged with making a "straw purchase."

Who is going take the lead on this?

Maybe we should draw straws...

6 feet polymer tubes capable of killing sea creatures like Aquaman and Flipper.
I say again. Lego designed 3d printed plastic capable of quarts of water in a half second.

I think discarded cigarette butts are more of a problem then plastic straws.

in the last California straw poll, it was determined that the government was grasping at straws to prevent the straw purchases of straws through straw men. It really was the last straw

We have at least 2 generations since then who didn't grow up using TV antennas.

Rabbit ears are back in use for OTA broadcasts.  My HD antenna isn't made of "rabbit ear" extensions. Solid plastic shell containing wire mesh.

....
Yet people are cutting the cable more frequently nowadays because of the rising cost.
I got along fine when spectrum chopped my qam service. But since they offered 2 years free box rental, I took it.
By the time the 2 years is up, I should have my old antenna remounted with new wires.

 :stopjack:
The aluminum tubes used to make the antennas was a tremendously versatile and formidable weapon.
Think about the primitive tribes hunting with poison tipped darts....similar

why you guys laughing?  coming soon to Hawaii, next legislative session, you watch.  Those extremist minority-interest environmentalist tree-hugging sierra club, save-the-whales, green-peace folks, they pack some major clout with our elected non-representing representatives, who are always looking for more ways to suck up with the progressive libtard trendy in-crowd.

I thought the armor-piercing straw was pretty good.  They need to put a green tip on it.

I'm sure that the real people in California are just laughing hysterically at the laws.
I can see it now....

Cop: ma'am can you tell me what happened?
Skanky Libtard Hag: fuck you pig!
Cop: ma'am please calm down or I'll have to taze you.
SLH: Well he was in the corner by the creamer and sugar and then he pulled out a huge striped straw. I think it was a McDonald's one, you know one of those high capacity drink guzzlers, and well he stuck it in his double mocha half-caf espresso latte and he, he, he...
Cop: ma'am it's ok just tell us what went on.
SLH: He just sat there on the chair and.... drank it.. *uncontrollable sobbing*

Some folks are now making concealed carry straws and selling them on the open market. I don't think I'll feel safe going in to any restaurant in California now. What if someone pulls out their 9mm straw and tries to drink a 44oz big gulp in a crowded restaurant? How many people could be harmed?

It's even labeled "The Final Straw". I'm scared. What if they bring them to Hawaii? Does HPD have a plan to stop them?

Saw a kid the other day with a double action straw... he was sucking his drink thru it then squirting it back into the cup! Something needs to be done about this! :tinfoil:

No joke, illegal staws, but legalize centers so junkies have a place to shoot up.

if the Porn Tax passes (SB254, HB567, HB647), then the next year, Willie Espero introduces a bill that automatically registers everybody who elected to pay that tax, into the Sex Offenders Registry, like Rap Back.

I have a box of 3000 straws that I don't know what to do with.  I am also flying in to LAX this Wed and immediately driving to Pahrump.  Maybe I should take it with me and scatter it along my drive to Pahrump.

Why LAX, why not to Vegas and save 3-4 hours of driving? Assume you're going to FrontSight. Unless you have family, not much to do in Elephant Fart except do meth, grow Pot (legally now) or shoot. Have a good time  :shaka:

Flying to LAX because HA wants 110,000 miles to fly RT to LAS.  42,500 miles to fly to LAX and return from PHX.  Wife is using miles, I am buying my ticket which was $200 cheaper that route vs buying a RT ticket to LAS.  Because LAS is so popular, HA charges a premium to fly to LAS.

I hear ya. We have done the fly to PHX, Southwest to Vegas and rent car to drive back to PHX. It's cheaper on all fronts that way as rental companies need cars back to PHX. Last year to LAS for the family was almost $3600 for the 4 of us in the cheap seats direct. Hoping that Southwest coming here will drive the rates back down.

I hope so too.  I have Pualani Gold so I get a 50% bonus on miles added per segment,  and I like HA service and on time record but if SW is much cheaper, then $ talks.  Getting back to the topic, should I dump my straws in CA?  Will I get arrested if they find all those banned straws in my suitcase?  I already will be driving through CA with a non CA compliant G19.

Stop at all the Starbucks along the way and put a handful out on the counter with a post-it saying "FREE High Capacity Liquid Suction Devices"

Doing some research, you have to ask for a plastic straw.  They cannot just give you one or have them available to take in CA.  You can still get one with your drink if you ask.
