If you can find the vid and his manifesto b4 its removed.
Vid (body cam shooter wore) showed people bunching up in 2 corners.
1 guy rushed but was shot. But managed to knock the shooter down. So had either groups rushed him, they would have been able to stop the shooting. But since they were huddled in corners, they were huge targets. No one was armed at this mosque.
2nd mosque, an armed muslim chased the shooter away. No info yet.
Manifesto is 100% white supremesist. Media aleady blaming Trump. But in his manifesto he says he only likes Trump because he is white. As a leader and policy maker he does not.
So active shooter, hiding doesnt work. Youre screwing yourself. Need to fight, even if unarmed. And urge others to "rush" with you.
Idk islam culture and if guns are allowed in the mosque.

This is from the "SUN"
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/8642007/christchurch-mosque-shootings-brit-gunman-racist-manifesto-trump-supporter/
"He boasted that he chose to use firearms so he could influence politics in the US.
“Finally, to create conflict between the two ideologies within the United States on the ownership of firearms in order to further the social, cultural, political and racial divide within the United states," he wrote.
“This conflict over the 2nd amendment and the attempted removal of firearms rights will ultimately result in a civil war that will eventually balkanize the US along political, cultural and, most importantly, racial lines.”"
Reminds me of the charlie manson helter skelter thing.

Did the gunman go fully semiautomatic or a fully automatic??
We all know only law abiding citizens do this kind of thing!
(The call for gun control)!!
The gunman also had IEDs they sould be some kind of law to prevent criminals from being criminals!!
-
It seems like those people just cowered together and hoped it would end rather than try to do something to stop it.
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." (Edmund Burke)
Sorry,.. I have no sympathy for people who do that.
Even wild animals in nature have more common sense than that.
(eg. never come between a mother and her child)
Personally, I made a promise to myself that if ever faced with a similar situation, I would try to do something.
Anything is better than nothing.

I give the women and children a pass when it came to doing noting. Because even in their culture, they do nothing (male dominated). I do fault the men for not taking any action, well except for that 1 guy who managed to knock the shooter down.
I even have to have a discussion with Mrs.CMO when we get on a plane. If someone goes aloha snackbar, I need her to back me up because odds are, most people will just sit and do nothing. Sheepdog vs. sheep vs. wolf.
If anyone can't find the vid or manifest, lmk and I can write a break down here.
Fake news running "Trump supporter" headline hard. And sheep who don't bother to research agreeing MAGA=bad.

Very disgusting. Seems NZ gun laws are less restrictive than many non US countries, however, every restriction they have didn't and couldn't have stopped the individual beforehand.
Looking at the laws reminds me somewhat of our laws in Hawaii. Strict vetting, permit by police discretion, and no real ability to carry for self defense. This could EASILY be a Hawaii tragedy.
A sick f*ck in New Zealand wants to cause civil war in the US? What kind of BS is this? :wtf:

The “gang up” mentality against the shooter is needed. We had done some training for various active shooter scenarios. I was the shooter in a few cases where I mock attacked the class before our class with a SIRT gun. First thing I noticed is that it takes folks a bit to figure out that something’s going down. Many freeze and sort of look around to see what happened and others do. Second was that it folks a while to find exits.
Then even when we had trained in the “gang up” against the attacker, many times only one person took me on. The training lessons were for to resist as a group and overwhelm. As I was mock shooting folks, I found that I often didn’t see the person coming from my 3 and 9 o’clock, where I would normally have seen with my periferal vision, and it was surprisingly pretty easy to take me to the ground. Even for a female who was about 5’3” ish and maybe 120 lbs. I outweighed her by about 60 lbs. But even if she didn’t take me down, it was enough to get me to stop shooting and a good window for others to pile on, but many times others just kept on running. Eventually I usually was able to get the first person off of me and go back to shooting those who had hidden in other area of the room.
So yeah, “gang up” and resist and hope others got your back, like Mrs. CMO.

That is the hardest part to overcome, even as a trained operator. Is the delay from the shooting, to your brain, to your body. And if someone is in a state of SHTF 24/7, they will easily burn out. So imagine being in that state for months even years and nothing happens. Well we all do know that 1 guy who is always "jumpy". Don't want to end up like him.
Was this class local? I would like for me and Mrs. CMO to attend. I've seen many in Vegas.

From what I was able to look up, NZ has no 2a. So issuing a permit to buy a gun is at the sole discretion of the police. You need a reason and self defense is not a very good one. But when they do issue permits to buy, they factor in mental health and character also. But they do not have a registration. So after your permit is issued, who knows what you bought and how much. Also they can issue permits for full auto, but those are rarely issued (more to contractors/private security).
I didn't see any mention if the guns were purchased legally or not.

I remember a couple years back a NZ couple came to one of HRA’s Sunday Fun Shoots, and he gave us a 5-minute primer on NZ gun laws. In summary, great in many ways, not so much on others, and when applying for a permit DO NOT use self-defense as your reason for acquiring...the guy emphasized that a few times.

Do they have mag limits, SBR, or suppressors, ccw?
-
My buddy used to live 5 miles from the mosque. He said he knows the family that lived right near the mosque and the gunman parked his car in their driveway prior to the attack.
He lives on the north island now. Seems like the gun laws are same in all NZ, but there are ‘arms officers” (what he calls them) that can be good or bad to deal with. I know my buddy has ARs and suppressors.

Yeah. While S/A is key, one can’t be turned on all the time. At least I can’t be.
Yeah, the class is local. I stopped going for family health reasons, and haven’t gone back due to some of my own recently. That said, I personally wouldn’t recommend you go to there. A buddy that I met from those classes is tinkering with doing stuff on his own. Hit me up via PM if you want some info.

I believe i read they have mag limits, supressors are unregulated and even required for hunting, sbr dunno, but they have differrnt levels and classifications for firearms. Ccw is a no go. Self defense with a firearm is discouraged.

At this point I don't really care what hoops Hawaii puts out there to let people carry. Extensive character check, background, whatever. At least afford people the opportunity. Even if it's not everyone. Let a few good people have the chance to defend themselves and and the others around them. That would be a great start. I'm a horrible knife thrower!

Thats the problem, rights dont require hoops to jump thru. And how will hpd define "exceptional character". Same way they define "exceptional circumstance".
Danny Tanner himself wouldnt qualify as good charcter.

That is definitely the ultimate goal we all would like to reach. Yes it is a damn RIGHT. But, even if Hawaii provided an mf'in outlet to legally carry in their eyes, sh!t let's take it. But Hawaii doesn't allow anyone at the moment other than for profession to obtain a permit.
What I'm saying is. Even if I don't get one, but stats show 200 people in whatever year did obtain a permit. Well sh!t that is better odds of response than ZERO permitted carriers.
Yes, I agree with you, it is ultimately a RIGHT. But damn Hawaii can't even issue one permit to a civilian. I spent HOURS writing my case. It felt stupid to even have to explain it to them on paper. Guess I was being optimistic.
-
The crazy shooter is a terrorist, sadly he is winning with his terror already. They talking about disarming the law abiding, many are already lining up sides, mocking of God and prayers, the list goes on... exactly what this scumb wanted. So sad the gullible are now bending to terrorist rule.
Reports say Muslim man returned fire, instantly stopping the killer and sent them fleeing. Wonder how much the media will cover that fact.

From a post shared on FB
I think he's wrong about ARs being banned in NZ, however, correct on the difficulty of acquiring licencing.
As for the tactical analysis, I'm not an operator, but it's a good read. IMO
This is my full report of lessons to be learned from the horrific Christchurch, New Zealand terrorist attack that took place yesterday. As I’m sure the whole world knows by now, that sick POS who shot up that Mosque in New Zealand wore a GoPro or helmet cam while he did it, and he Facebook live broadcasted himself doing it. He used 2 shotguns and 2 AR-15s, and played British Grenadier fife and drum music in the background while he went through the Mosque. This is the first time in history that we have a 1st person shooter footage of an actual mass shooting, and there are extremely valuable tactical lessons that can and ARE being learned from watching it. Let me start out by saying that my heart goes out to the Muslim community, particularly in New Zealand. Let me also say that I find it absolutely reprehensible, disgusting, and morally bankrupt that the New Zealand, UK, and Australian governments have been trying to block the video or get it taken down. It’s become clear that they don’t want people to learn from this incident by watching the video to see how these types of threats can be prevented or successfully countered in the future. Not very friendly or neighborly of our absolute closest allies and fellow members of the Five Eyes. This video has extremely legitimate training and educational value for both first responders and civilians alike here in the United States.
That being said, I have watched the video many, MANY times and studied the hell out of it, so that you don’t have to. These are the lessons that can be learned from it:
1) Like most mass shooters, this guy had ZERO legitimate training of any kind. None. I won’t get into his GARBAGE “tactics” or “clearing procedures” yet, because that’s a different point altogether, but he wasn’t even trained on his weapons systems. He was clearly only familiar at a very basic level with each of them, but not actually trained on them. He didn’t even know how to do speed reloads or tactical reloads. He didn’t know how to clear malfunctions or do proper weapons transitions. He didn’t bother getting ANY training, because he knew that no one there would have a weapon of any kind or even the will to fight back, and that he would move through the target completely unopposed. And he was completely right. Lesson: Carry a gun and get training on how to use it. Even if you don’t want to... FIGHT BACK SOMEHOW. Any way you can. These guys are LAZY. If you actually bother resisting, you will win. . . . .
2) The shooter was able to approach and enter the target building completely unopposed and unencumbered while in full black tactical gear, carrying 2 long guns, and no one did or said anything to prevent or try to stop him. No one even called the cops. Lesson: Be aware of your surroundings . . . .
3) The gate was wide open and the shooter was able to gain access with incredible ease. Once inside, he never opened even one single door the entire time. He ALWAYS chose the path of least resistance. Lesson: Lock your gates, lock your doors, lock your rooms. If you’re ever in an active shooter situation, don’t have a firearm and you can safely retreat to a room, do it. Even if the room doesn’t have a lock on the door. He didn’t even bother trying the doorknobs. Not every mass shooter is guaranteed to be this lazy, but getting into a room is better than being out in the open. LOCK YOUR DOORS. . . . .
3) The shooter was able to spend a full 6 minutes on target without a police response, and left without ever being engaged by LEOs or anyone else. He literally went out to his car to grab more weapons and ammo, and then came back in the building to finish everyone off, even firing a ton of extra round into already dead bodies. Multiple people can be heard crying and begging for their lives while he mag dumps into them. Others were playing dead, and got shot further, guaranteeing their actual death. He did all of this completely unopposed. Lesson: Cowering in the corner out in the open and/or “playing dead” during an active shooter event is NOT a viable defensive tactic. Either hide in a room (ideally one with a lock on the door) if you are completely defenseless, or ATTACK HIM. Which brings me to my next point. . . . .
4) There were many, many, many opportunities to engage (attack) the shooter during the many malfunctions and super long, super shitty reloads he had with his garbage weapons that he wasn’t trained on. And yet, no one did. (Don’t worry, I’ll get to that one guy you’re thinking of momentarily.) Lesson: Weapons malfunctions and reloads are an OPPORTUNITY. Take advantage of them. ATTACK HIM. Take advantage of their complete lack of training, and take them out. . . . .
5) This guy’s room clearing procedures were absolutely GARBAGE. They were HEINOUS. He has very clearly never trained to tactically enter a room, hallway, building, or any other enclosed environment. He had no idea what he was doing, nor did he need to, because he knew that no one on target would have a gun, and again, that he would move through his target completely unopposed. Which he did. He gave his back to his victims more than 2 dozen times. He dropped his sector of fire completely, making himself tactically vulnerable more times than i could even count, and believe me, I tried to count them all. There were just too many. Each of those instances was an opportunity for an untrained person to attack him by bum rushing him or shooting him, if they had a gun. And yet NO ONE took advantage EVEN ONCE. Now, I know what you’re thinking. “But Josh, what about that one dude who tried to charge him and got shot? He’s a hero!!!” Listen... I want someone to have been a hero here and have charged this prick with their very last breath and very last effort, just as much as the next guy. I LOVE a good hero story, and I WISH that that dude had been pulling a Jesse Lewis, the 7 year old in Sandy Hook who charged Adam Lanza in a desperate final attempt to defend his classmates. But unfortunately, that’s just not the case here. Go back and watch the video closely. When the camera pans around and you see that dude run up to the shooter, look at the direction the guy’s torso was heading in. It wasn’t towards the shooter. It was towards the hallway. The exit. He was fleeing for his life, not attempting to take down the shooter. He even tried to use his arm to push passed the shooter. If he had been charging the gunman, his torso would’ve been angled towards the camera, and he would’ve been low, aiming for the guy’s waist or legs. Instead, he was relatively high, angled towards the exits. That guy was no hero. He was a terrified worshipper who just wanted to live. He’s not evil. He was just not trained for this and scared out of his mind. I don’t blame him. But he wasn’t trying to be a hero or save anyone but himself. That’s just the reality. HOWEVER, before he got shot to death, he DID manage to push the shooter down to the ground. If he had had a partner and they had tried to bum rush the shooter together, they COULD have stopped him. Lesson: Look for opportunities to take out the shooter. If they give you their back or aren’t aiming their weapon at you, that’s an opportunity to attack! If at all possible, find someone else who has the courage to fight back, and the two of you charge him together. Chances are extremely high that you’ll be successful against an untrained mass shooter, especially in close-quarters such as a small room. These guys certainly would’ve been. . . . .
6) The mass shooting at the other (Linwood) Mosque, which wasn’t live broadcasted or filmed, was literally stopped by an armed worshipper who SHOT BACK, and caused the shooters to flee! That’s right. In friggin gun control paradise New Zealand, someone had a gun and shot back during a mass shooting, ending it instantly. The MOMENT the other mass shooters were met with armed resistance, they FLED. (Sidenote... I’m willing to bet that that worshipper was not legally carrying that weapon in public. New Zealand doesn’t issue carry permits.) Lesson: BE ARMED. Even if it’s against the law. It’s better to save lives and be judged by 12, than let everyone around you die and be carried by 6.
One of my Facebook friends is a soldier in the British Army, and he supports gun control. Until now. I’m going to quote what he said after he saw this video, and provide screenshots of it: “Holy shit dude. I take back every word I’ve ever said about arming the people. We should all have guns... How many lives would’ve been saved if someone in that mosque was armed and trained.” My response? “Yup. Now you get it.” CARRY A GUN.
This happened in a place where guns are almost completely banned, AR-15s cannot be legally acquired, and the process for getting hunting weapons is INSANELY long, expensive and draconian. And guess what... it STILL HAPPENED. CARRY A GUN!!!!!! . . . . In summary: - Carry a gun - The cops aren’t going to get there in time. You’re on your own. - Knowing that, take basic precautionary measures, like locking gates, windows and doors, and being generally aware of your surroundings - If you find yourself in an active shooter incident, DO NOT PLAY DEAD. DO NOT curl up, crouch, huddle or lie down in the open - If you don’t want to confront the shooter, find a room to hide in if you can, preferably one with a lock on the door. Bring everyone you can with you to that room. - Look for opportunities to attack the shooter, and try to do it with someone.

Thanks for the post. I only watched the vid once b4 it got take down. Then Spent a while searching and found nothing.
I didnt notice the guy who knocked the shooter down was trying to bypass him and run away. Not bum rush him. What a waste and stupid. But like the guy said, he had zero training and was in panic mode.

It’s funny how they don’t want to see this but you can watch much worse things! People should see this, so you can see what happens with mentality insane people mixed with gun free zones and or people not wanting some sort of protection! At least have some guards at large events?!!

I downloaded the complete video before it was taken down, all nearly 17 minutes of it. I won't post it here.
I more or less concur with what Heavies posted, but I'm pretty sure you can buy an AR-15 in NZ.
The guy that was running out had a chance to disrupt the shooter and didn't try it. I won't pass judgement.
But a small chance is better than no chance. If you can get within 7 meters and have surprise you
can get to someone.
As far as zero training, School fights, Football, et al count for something. Life teaches you
that when backed into a corner, running away from problems is almost always a failure.
-
Giving it some thought and since I can't carry a gun I usually always have a knife with me, but wondering in an active shooter situation where would be the best place to put it? People talk about the American prison style sewing machine as being very effective for creating a lot of blood loss but active shooters seem more likely to be wearing chest rigs or even body armor. The neck seems like a small target and the inside of the leg has a huge blood pipe but probably won't be very open unless you are already on the floor and they are stepping over you. I'm imagining in this scenario I'm already leaking and probably have one last shot of adrenaline to make a blind rush on a mag change like that dude in the hallway. They say in that kind of situation our vision is like looking through a toiler paper tube so what would be a good place to aim the tube at?
-

Stick it in his asshole. Even if it doesn't kill him it will be embarrassing and painful as hell.

Stick or slash and follow up, follow up, follow up. Not like movies, 1 stab and guy goes down.
All depends on clothing and gear. Slashing cuts ligaments so parts no move. But all depends.

This maybe another separate topic, but that's why I think the feminist movement is a bunch of crap. Nothing gives a woman MORE power than a man than her having a gun for protection. But I don't see any feminist out there protesting the 2a infringements and even here in Hawaii the denial of all CCW's, even to women who have been beaten by their bf/husband.

Told my friends yesterday about this and said that this is what you get when you don't have rights. On the other side I saw that Pocahontas Warren says we need to abolish the Electoral College to save our Democracy. To that I say, educate yourself as we don't have a democracy, we have a Republic

Yup :(
I have two good friends in NZ. One used to live minutes away from one mosque. He lives on the north island now. He was posting in a forum that I am part owner because we have a password only section. Otherwise, he could get arrested for posting his feeling on the matter. He methioned many online venues in NZ either very much censored or even shit down.

Even a PW only is not a defense against government censorship. Same as Great Britain, if caught, saying anything disparaging against the crown can get you thrown in prison. And there is no defense against it. You know the laws, follow them or else.

So far 37 out of millions of guns have been surrendered

Another NZ buddy posts on OZ firearms forums. I am good friends with a couple of the admin on that OZ forum and they mentioned that some other NZ and OZ gun forums were getting requests for info for some of their members.
Understood about stuff in foreign countries, lack of 1a (and 2a), etc. Which makes things even more maddening when I see folks applauding "NZ's common sense approach to gun control". Well, they are going to have folks go online to register/document ownership and then schedule a time to turn them in. Yup, that's gonna be effective to get those that don't want to follow the law to comply.

They have no freedom. No way to protest or petition government for redress of grievances.
Definition of tyranny. I believe the American revolution was fought because of such.

Oh you didn't see the outrage? It was where they blamed the christian for trying to put out the fire the muslim set just to keep himself and the others warm. Such a giving loving person. Selfless in fact.

The system is fucked the elite make the refugees county shitty so they have to leave and go to a place they don’t want to be or welcomed. Them we got a crazy go kill the refugees & the people get to give up there rights for the greater good. So the NZ prime minister can honor the killer wishes of causing more divide and pissing people off. Why dont they try make there county better for the refugees or protect them in there own lands instead of ours!

Pretty tragic what happened, Us kiwis and Aussies are supposed to stick together, but the facts are slowly coming to light.. to suggest and action new laws within 6 days is just Amazing to me though

They had the law sitting on the burner waiting for something to happen. Same thing happened here with the "Assault Weapons Ban 2017" after the Florida shooting (Madison Stone Douglas High School). There was no way they could have put a 45 page bill together naming every make and model of guns that quickly.
Are people calling for more gun control in Australia?
I tell anyone that willingly turns in a gun after a shooting. " If you think that you're mentally unstable and might shoot up a school, then by all means yes, turn your guns in". As for me, I'm not evil, going to break the law, or mental, so I will be keeping my guns.
-
Possibly i didn't think of it like that, it's put a bit of a sour taste in alot of Aussies mouths as it reminds alot of the older generation about what happened in 1996 in Port Arthur down in Tassie ( Tasmania ) i was 3 so can't comment on to much but within days most of the semi's and shotguns got made illegal and eventually destroyed ( although many have been found in crime scenes since )
People are calling for more laws and regs here but thats nothing new.
It's kind of like cutting your own Penis off to stop and end Rape

Seems like NZ's tech guys are doing a good job removing videos as they come up. So I'll add to the breakdown that was posted earlier. I only saw it once so I'm going from memory. Shooter had a GoPro on his head.
1) Video begins as shooter drives and parks on the street to the side of the mosque. There was a wall there, so there is no way anyone could have seen him coming from inside the building or court yard/lot.
2) Shooter gets out of car and 4 guns in his trunk. 2 AR's and 2 shotguns. He grabs 1 AR and 1 semi auto shotty. then walks around the corner to the front gate of the mosque.
3) No one is in the court yard/lot of the mosque so as he enters the property, no one can see him.
4) Shooter gets about 4 feet from the front door of the mosque and shoots at 1 person with his semi auto shotgun (3 rds or so) who is standing in the doorway. Person drops. Then another person emerges and while he is still 2 feet from the entrance, shoots more with the shotty (2nd person drops) until he is empty. He then drops the shotty and unslings his rifle.
5) The entry way has a corridor and not wide open immediately after entering. His rifle has a WML on it and is on it's strobe function. Walks about 7 feet in and turns to his right where there is an open door. He sees someone standing about 15 feet away and shoots at them. The person turns around and tries to run away and manages to get to the doorway closes to them, but drops. Bullet holes are seen as he is anticipating the continuation of the running in the dry wall (like Terminator 1 at the police station)
6) Shooter then turns around and door adjacent to the 1st open door is locked. He tries to turn the knob and nothing. He continues about 5 more feet down the corridor.
7) Then the corridor leads into the open prayer area, No chairs or pews or desk. He looks right while standing at the edge of the corridor opening. Sees a bunch of people huddled on the floor. He unloads. He turns and looks to his left and sees more people huddled on the floor in a group. Doesn't shoot yet, but keeps shooting at the people on the right side.
8) He then makes his way more toward the center of the open area and unloads to the people on the left. He then drops his mag and turns around and walks back toward the corridor. Gun is empty. He reloads and turns back to face the direction of the open floor. At this point someone trying to flee toward the corridor runs toward him and manages to knock the shooter down. But the person is shot also and seems dead (not moving). Shooter then gets up off the ground and shoots more at the crowd to the right. He then turns and shoots at the crowd to the left. Each time, we see via his GoPro he checks over his back to see if anyone else is coming. He then drops another mag and has no ammo in his rifle.
9) Makes his way back to the corridor where he dropped his 1st mag realizing that mag still had rounds in it. Bends over and picks it up. His rifle is empty the entire time. Loads the mag and starts shooting again at the crowd to the right. Gun then jams. He doesn't tap rack, but takes a few seconds to realize what went wrong and removes mag and pulls charging handle. Enters mag again and starts firing at both crowds. Gun is then empty, he drops the mag.
10) While there are still no bullets in the gun, he goes back to the corridor and picks up the other mag he dropped earlier because that to still had bullets in it. So at this point he dropped 2 loaded mags thinking they were empty. Goes back to the open floor and opens up in both directions again. Then his light falls off his rifle. About 1-2 mins has passed since he 1st entered the prayer area.
11) He walks back down the corridor toward the entrance. He looks over his shoulder and we see the stobbing WML on the floor in the main prayer area. Leaves the building and is in the court yard/lot. No one is there. He exits the gate and turns right and sees someone walking down the sidewalk. He shoots at them. Probably about 30 yards away. Then turns to his left and shoots at someone else down the side walk.
12) Drops his rifle he was using and goes back to his trunk. At this point, this is all what was shown on this video.
Again, this is from what I remember so some things maybe wrong. But finding the video is more difficult now. Like the other post mentioned, things can be learned since this was the 1st time a GoPro was used from the shooters perspective.
1) Shooter had little firearms training. Dropped 2 loaded mags. Tap/rack wasn't instinctive during his jam. Didn't loctite his WML. It fell off, so that shows his competence.
2) Shooter only had 2 mags on him. They looked like the 100rd surefire ones. Which would be the reason why his gun jammed.
3) Hiding in an open area under no concealment/cover will cause you to die.
4) If you are in an open area and no escape or cover/concealment, you have to rush the shooter. You're screwed either way. Or at least wait until he reloads or attention is off of you to rush. 1 guy managed to knock the shooter to the ground. Had there been a 2nd person to follow up, the shooting could have been stopped. Or if the entire group of 15 people rushed him, they could have overran him. But that isn't likely and takes practice.
5) There was adequate time to run once the 1st shot was fired from outside the mosque. About 30-45 seconds. Someone in the main prayer area could have jumped out the window. Not sure if there was another door on the opposite end. But I'm guessing there probably is. Hard to imagine a mosque with only 1 entrance/exit.
6) There was only 1 way into the open prayer area from where the gun shots are heard. So again, someone could have been waiting around the corner for the muzzle to expose itself and began attacking (30-45 seconds to make a decision to run or fight). Or if anyone was armed, they could have waiting for the shooter to emerge (kill funnel).
7) Apparently, no one walking outside the mosque heard any gun shots because there were people walking down the sidewalk still.
8) Need to train even at work. What to do when you hear gun shots. Valuable time is wasted while you decide right then and there what to do. Have a plan, or even multiple plans. What do I do if I hear gun shots and sitting on the toilet, walking to the restroom, in the lunchroom, etc... Everything now is in hindsight. But it's apparent that no one had a plan. Only guy without time for a plan would be the 1st guy who got shot when the shooter was 4 feet from the door. The 2nd guy emerged after the shooting started.
My video ended here. But I think he did go back to his car and get his other guns to go back inside and shoot more.

Government to gangs: Hand in your military-style semi-automatics or face 5 years' jail
https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12218289 (https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12218289)
The Mongrel Mob said at the weekend that it would not hand over MSSAs, but Nash pointed to the new penalty of five years' jail for possession: "My advice to the gangs is, 'Hand your weapons back.'"
Mr. Nash might as well be Mr. Rogers.
A Kiwi buddy shared this article. He initially posted just a small portion, so I thought he was BS’ing or sharing satire...

NZers are rising up and refusing to turn in guns. Especially the biker clubs. I would like to see a vid of a police officer trying to take a gun away from a Maori on a bike.

Since they have no freedom of press/speech it's getting harder to find any details. Unlike here. Everyone knows everything. But some choose to ignore facts or question the "official story".

It's starting, gun confiscation raids.
Google "Adam Mielnik New Zealand". For some reason, articles take to long to load and the 1 that did load, can't copy and paste URL. It goes to the main companies basic URL.
He's the 2nd gun owner to be raided by NZ police. He came home for lunch and 8 cop cars swarmed him. 14 cops spread out and a dog unit. No warning or letter to turn in issued. All because he bought an AR-15 the day after the Christchurch shooting. They asked him questions about the shooting, Muslims, religion, and politics. They took his AR and ammo. He wonders how his name ended up on the "list".

To buy a gun, you have to have a Gun License.
There are 6 Endorsements for a license based on the category of firearm they want to buy/own. Endorsement "A" is for guns not classified under Endorsements B-F. Endorsement "E" is for "Military-style semi-automatics."
The gov't knows who has AR-15s, AK-47s, etc.
The endorsements would be like a driver license endorsement for motorcycle or commercial vehicle operations.
