To me, since I'm still working and collecting a regular paycheck, I feel a tinge of guilt collecting money like that.
There are others that lost their jobs that could really use a boost.
I'll donate some to various charities first.
I'll bank some.
But a couple days ago I had a chance to fondle a Sig365 and I think I'm in love.

But I hear ya. I don't know most of the details of the plan to be honest. I do think it will help a LOT of folks. A lot of my mixed feelings come from personal opinions on "assistance programs", but that's a whole other subject.

If the virus is not under control in the US after Summer, nothing on Earth will stop ensuing depression by Fall.
Moreover, now is not the time to be blaming or making any kind of threats to China, as evidenced by all the China haters online and in the print media.
As you know all to well, all China needs to do is to dump their US dollar/treasuries, which other countries will do the same in the resulting panic, and the US will go bankrupt and cease to exist overnight.

Today’s schedule is shopping for supplies at Walmart and Costco in the morning. Walmart was out of paper towels and TP but had a few packages of tissues so we got a package. Everyone has choke bottled water. We needed laundry supplies as we have to wait between 1pm to 5pm for our new washer and dryer to be delivered today. Costco had the Marathon tri fold paper towels. A box of 4,000 towels for $26. So I picked that up because we have no paper towels. But the sheet sets we wanted they didn’t have the right size for our bed. So back to Walmart this week. That is what we are doing today. Tomorrow we have to find a primary care physician for my wife and I and make appointments. We have some medical supplies for her that we need to go to a specialized supply store for. And we need to start looking for a TV and stand for the living room. Maybe by Thursday or Friday I’ll have some time to start checking out the LGS. The bed gets delivered on Saturday. So that is the day we officially move in to our house.

I don't have my tax returns in front of me now at work so I'll do it later bc they also need info from the tax returns although I already sent in my tax payment for 2019

According to Google there are 209,128,094 Americans 18+ years old. $2k a month for 6 months comes to $2,509,537,128,000. That's not even counting the 16 and 17 year olds. Bills and expenses aren't on pause waiting for the last $2000 installment, especially when it just pushes any future checks that much further off into the future.
The Dems are basically calling the next check "mostly $2000", like they characterized "mostly peaceful protests." Let's stop accepting the narrative. Joe PROMISED $2000, not $1200 to "make up for" the $600 checks that should have been more. That information wasn't offered until after he was elected.

I left the islands and closed my BoH accounts between the first and second stimulus checks. I read on the IRS website that due to the fact that they didn’t have my new address nor my new account info, I would receive my second stimulus check as a direct deposit to my new account when I file my tax return. However, I received a paper check from the treasury last week.

Paper? I got the card!Decided to use the money towards my rental investments. Same for my tax refund when I file my taxes. Some tax forms have not been finalized by the IRS yet. And I also have some money coming to me from my last 1031 exchange I did. That hits in May.

In other words, no Gucci, Audi, or Rolex. More like Macy's, Toyota, and Casio. ;D
We don't worry about bills, or if we will be able to buy food this week. Our humble house is paid for.
If we want to travel, we can. If I want to buy a gun, I can. If I want to pay a dollar a round for 5.56, I can. :o
Not bragging, just leading up to what I want to use the stimulus money for. I want to use it if any of my family needs help. That's what I plan and want to do with the money. :thumbsup:
