The grand jury heard “extensive testimony on the subject of alleged election fraud,” according to the report, but voted unanimously “that no widespread fraud took place in the Georgia 2020 presidential election that could result in overturning that election,” rejecting arguments made by Trump and his supporters.
-
The purpose of the grand jury was to collect false allegations against president Trump.
Apparently they succeeded but it's so flimsy they won't release the majority of the report.
-
Still didn't read the ENTIRE election fraud thread.

And a Grand Jury is not a panel of experts in elections, electronic voting machines, or the law. It's comprised of regular people who come complete with biases, media-fueled predispositions, and I'm sure some degree of TDS.
I thought G. Jury's purpose is to decide whether or not a crime was committed and whether there is sufficient evidence against a defendant to be indicted. Only then do both sides get to make their case in court.
Grand Juries decide nothing. Either they see the state has sufficient evidence to proceed to court, or they don't.
Also, if the standard is set where there must be widespread fraud that could result in overturning that election, we'll never weed out the problems. It's not about fraud per se as much as irregularities and illegalities that COULD have occurred. Should not have to prove it DID occur.
It's no different than evaluating the violations of gifts given to government officials. You don't have to prove the recipient did anything wrong as a result of a gift. You only have to prove the gift is enough to create the possibility that the official was influenced -- i.e. there's a potential bad act if not a provable one.

There is not a Democrat that would find for fraud. they have the morals of slugs.
Democrats did the "holocaust" and thought it was perfectly legal.
Under their laws it was.
Just because it is a law doesn't meant it must be obeyed.

If the election fraud thread contains information from Fox News, they claim to be allowed to lie to the public because they are an entertainment company and not journalists.
Proves my point. Xhe has no idea what's in the thread.
-
The grand jury is not a Democrat. The conclusion that crimes were committed was unanimous. Indictments will follow after the DA decides on which crimes to prosecute.
There's that phrase again "indictments will follow." Still waiting for the other "indictments".

CNN is worse than FOX.
MSNBC is worse than CNN.
Truth doesn't belong to the MSM or any single network. They all lie, just that FOX gets it right more often than the others.
-
Why is Fox news in full denial mode that they are a news organization?
That's a lie.
Show where they did that.

My pronouns are He/Him and you have no idea what is in the thread.

Still a lie. You've not answered the question.
You've only shown us a link to a PDF.
Show us the statement in that document that says FOX News labeled their entire organization as entertainment and used that as justification for lying to the public..
Or in your words, "...they claim to be allowed to lie to the public because they are an entertainment company and not journalists."
I can tell you some things about that document, though.
First, the word "entertainment" is contained within it 0 times.
Second, this document is not the court transcript. it's the complaint filed with the clerk which only contains the statements collected from Dominion and their OPINION that FOX broadcasters knowingly lied.
Third, did you even read that PDF? I asked for a source where FOX admitted they are entertainment and not journalists. Instead, you post something that does not come close to answering that question.
Try again, Karen.

McBurney limited the portions of the report that could be shared, stressing that the
grand jury process understandably does not include the same protections for
witnesses as a public trial.
“There were no lawyers advocating for any targets of the investigation,” McBurney
wrote in the eight-page decision, noting the process is “entirely appropriately — a
one-sided exploration.”
“Potential future defendants were not able to present evidence outside the scope
of what the district attorney asked them. They were not able to call their own witnesses
who might rebut what other State’s witnesses had said and they had no ability to
present mitigating evidence. Put differently, there was very limited due process in this
process for those who might be named as indictment-worthy in the final report,”
McBurney wrote.

Apparently, this is not the typical Grand Jury. They were not asked to return indictments on anyone. Instead, they listened to witnesses testimonies, and then they recommended charges against some secret number of witnesses they believe lied to them -- i.e. perjury charges.
So, the crime recommended be charged has nothing to do with "overthrow of an election." The only issue is whether or not the people testifying lied about anything in front of the Grand Jury.
Talk about bootstrapping.
Sounds like the Grand Jury was set up as a perjury trap. They can't indict anyone of breaking any laws, so they get everyone under oath and hope to trip them up during the examination. This is the same thing the Dims tried doing to Trump during the bogus impeachments, but he refused to play their games and be placed under oath.
Losers.

I mean if the government wanted to show people that the election system is secured & trustworthy or wanted to move forward towards building back better, they should have let the case move forward & let everything come out into the open.

Who do you support? You support Republicans you are a Republican.
There you go again ... just making s#!t up!
According to you, if I'm a registered Democrat and voted for Trump, i'm really a Republican.
And if I'm a registered Republican and voted for Obama, I'm actually a Democrat.
Not sure if you're that stupid, or if you just think we are.
Your tribalistic "us vs them" mentality is a big part of what's wrong with this country.

Was thinking this from the very beginning. And this is why I don't trust government.
Every f**kn person that claims to be somebody in government seems to have something to hide.

Looks like the Grand Jury report has no credibility. If there ever are any charges filed, the foreperson just guaranteed either a mistrial or acquittal.
In the words of James Comey, "No reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case."
Unfortunately, we know many prosecutors have TDS, so ...

Emily Kohrs Has Harmed Image of Trump Georgia Probe
–Former Prosecutor
The forewoman of a special grand jury in Georgia's recent spate of media interviews
may have helped Donald Trump's insistence that the investigation into his attempts to
overturn the 2020 election results is a "witch hunt," but will not hinder the inquiry, a
legal expert tells Newsweek.
Emily Kohrs, who spent eight months hearing evidence and witness testimony as part
of the Fulton County criminal probe, recently took part in a media blitz detailing some
aspects of the special grand jury's report, including indictment recommendations.
...
Elsewhere, Kohrs openly mocked Trump over the former president's claim that he had
"total exoneration" from the grand jury investigation.
"Did he really say that? Oh, that's fantastic," Kohls told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"That's phenomenal. I love it."
Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor and president of Los Angeles-based
West Coast Trial Lawyers, said that while perhaps inadvisable, Kohrs did not violate
state laws by discussing the special grand jury report as revealing its deliberations.
It is also Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, not the special grand jury, who
will ultimately decide on whether to bring forward any charges in the investigation.
"Kohrs' media tour isn't helpful, and feeds into Trump's argument that the grand jury
investigation is a political witch hunt by a Democratic district attorney and the left-leaning
mainstream news media," Rahmani told Newsweek.
"But setting aside the bad optics, it won't have much of a legal effect on a potential
indictment. The special grand jury could only investigate and make recommendations
on what charges to bring. Willis can indict Trump or others because of, or in spite of,
Kohrs and her fellow grand jurors' recommendations," he said.
Kohrs has been widely condemned for giving such extensive media interviews about
the ongoing case.
Former Department of Justice inspector general Michael Bromwich described Kohrs as
a "reckless idiot" on Twitter amid reports that a number of Republican witnesses in Fulton
County are preparing to move to quash any possible indictments because of her public
statements during the ongoing criminal investigation.
https://www.newsweek.com/emily-kohrs-harmed-trump-image-special-grand-jury-georgia-1783332
if a professional dept of justice official (former) describes her as a "reckless idiot", what does that say about the grand jury in general? She was the forewoman, which means she guided the deliberations and drafted the recommended indictments.
How many of us would wish for a reckless idiot leading the grand jury deciding our own fate?

The Judge supervising the grand jury responded to this right wingnut misinformation campaign the juror did nothing wrong and could disclose more if she likes. Your information is wrong. You're spreading more lies which I guess is your specialty.
This is not "my information." i posted quotes and links from the sources.
Stop being so idiotic. You rarely post trusted sources to support your BS.
Calling this a misinformation campaign is comical when that's all you do on here.
Try again, Karen.
-
Kohrs also told CNN that she would be deeply disappointed if no charges resulted
from the grand jury’s eight months of work — a comment that drew criticism from some quarters,
since the length of an investigation should not determine whether indictments follow.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/georgia-juror-unsettles-trump-investigation-with-revealing-interviews/ar-AA17OGuh
It doesn't matter how many days, weeks or months the grand jury was listening to testimony. Some grand juries are empaneled for a fixed amount of time. In Georgia, the length of time varies by county from 2 to 6 months. if a case takes longer, they remain serving until their work is completed. Once the work is done, the results are supposed to be based on the information presented and not the amount of time spent on the case.
The purpose of any jury is to protect the rights of the accused so they can receive a fair trial, or in the case of a grand jury so the charges -- if any -- fit the crime. Period. That's the whole reason regular citizens listen to the evidence and decide on the outcome -- so the state doesn't get to decide for us all.
