Do you do more still hunting or stand hunting? The area I walked in today was very thick and I thought I was walking on human made trails but the farther in I went I think it was starting to turn into pig trails because they were cross-crossing in every direction.

That’s crazy brass monkey. Sounds like an irresponsible hunter.

Sorry Suko but you are very wrong about Walmart and selling licenses.

Thanks for the info bass monkey. Do they mostly hang around in the bottom areas where is cooler and more water?  Are they like deer and move more in the early morning and late in the afternoon?  Thanks again.

Ummmmmm... you might want to call Walmart and tell them to stop selling hunting licenses.

I have the license. As a matter of fact I was at the Mililani Walmart last night getting it when the parking lot turned into a crime scene. I was just looking for some advice on locations and tactics. Thanks.

Hunting / Bow hunting for pigs

Hey guys I’ve been living on O‘ahu for over 3 years now but I’m just getting into trying to pig hunt over here. I’ve been to Lanai a few times Axis hunting and loved it. I also go back to the mainland every October/November to go whitetail hunting and had a really good year this year. I went out today for the first time just to check out the area over at Nu’uanu by the Pali Highway. I checked out the area behind the reservoir over there. I saw some tracks but that was it. It was extremely thick over there but I feel like it will be like that most places on the island. Does anyone have any advice on places to go or strategies on bow hunting for pigs?  Thanks for any info you can give. I recently retired from the Army after 21+ years so I have a little time on my hands right now if anyone would like to go out during the week. Thanks again.
