I got to HPD at 8am this morning and was number 5 in line. Took me about an hour and a half to get all completed. Prior to walking out, one of the officers advised me that: "Hawaii doesn't have concealed carry". I advised that I carry under LEOSA. He said:  "Well it's on you".  When I was leaving, the line was out the door. Glad I got there early.

Aloha!  My name is Mike and I am retired police officer from the Chicago area. I currently reside in Oklahoma but will be spending about a mont to 2 months a year in Hawaii. I joined to learn more about the gun culture in Hawaii, carrying under LEOSA, and am interested in doing some competition such as IDPA when Im there. I'm headed to Honolulu in April.
