Political Discussion / Re: Communist draws gun on Feds - Dies
« on: January 26, 2026, 06:58:47 PM »
I like what ICE is doing in deporting the illegals, but they are way too agressive and that mentality led to this shooting.

How is ice being too aggressive? If these were law enforcement operation from local PD how would they treat someone actively impeding investigations? And what would happen to someone who is agitating law enforcement while carrying a firearm? This is squarely on the retards in office who are actively pushing these people to behave like this. THATS the only mentality that’s wrong in this situation.

ICE is getting death threats every day and I can only imagine the mental strain these officers are dealing with during these protest.

I'm pretty sure this guy was a normal, decent guy.

But he was doing the Kyle Rittenhouse.  Unwanted, not needed, and generally being a worthless pain in the a$$, and GETTING IN THE WAY.

Kyle got lucky.  He was not.

Check out @ 10:05 of this video.  Highlights common sense.

Kyle was also not fighting with law enforcement.

Honestly you cant put the ICE at fault, would any one of you try to interfere with any sort of armed law enforement?  Also, he was resisting and once you have 5 cops in a scuffle hear "he has a gun!" it's game over.

Oh I have no sympathy for this retard. The last thing you want to do as a CCW persons is to go and agitate federal agents while conducting operations. Everything is already tense and chaotic and adding a firearm into the mix is as stupid as it gets. But the optics on this are terrible and if we don’t want to get dog walked in the midterms these type of things can’t happen. It does us no good to try and spin this like liberals do, need to take the L and move on.

Clearly a bad shoot. One agent grabs the guys gun out of waistband and the other agent freaks out and pulls firearm. They shoot him after he is disarmed.

However if he was at home drinking coffee instead of impeding federal officers he’d still be alive. This is on the retarded media for lying about what ICE agents are actually doing. I still support ICE but this is bad.

I'm against 50yr mort, but I do like giving the option. Lets be realistic, if a 30 year old is ready to buy a home, that means they won't be paying it off until they're 80.  Which affects when they will retire as you don't want to retire when you still have lots left on your mortgage.  I mean you can, but it's not a wise decision.  And assume they live that long.

I use 30 as that's typeically when people start to get married and look to buy a home.  Of course there are those in their 20's who want to do this then by 70 they will be paid off.

We are looking at generational debt/mortgages.

40 years would be better, but the monthly savings from 30 years wouldn't be as much as a 50 year one.

No person in their right mind would actually take out a 50 year mortgage with the intentions of actually taking 50 years to pay it off, the interest you pay would be absolutely ridiculous. Even if they did  they could at least pass something on to their children. I’m looking at it as another tool to help people get into their first house.

Trump also floated “portable mortgages” where they could essential use their existing mortgage with a low interest rate to purchase a new house.

Point being that these options are not  “WTF Trump” worthy.

That’s oligarch slop from people who want us to be in debt slavery our entire lives and compete with foreigners for low wages.

You need to listen to less Ingram and more Bannon

Are 30 year mortgages “oligarch slop” as well? Again people don’t have to choose 50 year mortgages if they don’t want it. How can more options be bad?

How do you know what I listen too lol

I don’t understand why people are getting crazy over the 50 year mortgages. If you don’t want 50 then don’t do it? However it will help people who want to save a few hundred on their monthly payments, not to mention you can either pay extra to shorten the loan or refinance later when you make more money or when interest rates come down.

Also his reasoning behind H1B visas was explained pretty well on Laura ingrams show. You can’t have billions of dollars of investment into chip factories and expect to pull people off an unemployment line with no experience in chip manufacturing. You need experienced workers to actually show American workers how to be efficient.

Republicans are losing the information war.

A doctor is saying why the 30 06 bullet didnt exit and hit the people behind him is becuase it stuck kirks bone. His bone was denser than the normal man. So it helped stop the bullet.

Kirk often stated 1 diff between men and women is bone density.

Even in death, hes saving lives and proving facts.

I’m assuming an underpowered handliad with a lower grain bullet. No way a factory loaded 150-170 grain bullet doesn’t spray pink mist all over the back of that tent.

The conspiracy theories surrounding Kirk’s murder is sickening. I love a good conspiracy, but what I’m seeing is absolutely disgusting. People have already made up their minds even though professional snipers have come out and said the guy was an amateur. Apparently Erika Kirk is going to come out and address a lot of the misinformation surrounding Charlie’s “changing” stances on Israel, Catholicism, etc. people are already convincing themselves that if Erika goes against anything these conspiracy theorists have convinced themselves of she must be “bought” or scared for her life. Absolutely sickening.

I’ve never met the guy. I used to love watching a lot of his videos but over time it got boring watching him demolish dumb liberals so I stopped watching.

I’m not sure why his death affects me so much. Maybe it’s because like him, I’m also a father of young ones and a husband. I am not religious but I prayed last night, awkwardly I admit because I’d never really done it before. Something about this tragedy feels different. I definitely hugged my family a little longer and tighter before leaving for work this morning.

Government is not free.   It must be paid for.   The rich should pay more.   They should lower the taxes on the middle class and raise it on the rich.   If you make more than 1mil a year,  yes you should pay 38%+ on all earning above 1mil etc

Awesome, so how is a tax cut wasteful?
14
Good now to remove all the wasteful tax cuts for the rich.

So Elon implies Trump is a kid diddler yet he continued to work with and praise Trump, but he’s “principled” 😂

I would have to assume that if even one piece of “surveillance” equipment was found Qatar would be fucked and the plane would not be accepted.

I'm very disappointed by Trump's performance after having high hopes he'd end it soon.  It feels like Putin is winning over Trump.  Like Putin is toying with Trump.
Trump's just making vague empty threats with no meaning so far.

I hope he's just building the rage meter and will unleash the fury.

What “fury” are you hoping he will unleash?

Short term pain, long term gain. Trillions are already being invested in America.

FYI,
https://www.trade.gov/country-commercial-guides/japan-import-tariffs

Their tariffs are nowhere near the 24% Trump levied on them so I don't know how Trump is claiming his tariffs are reciprocal.

I believe trumps numbers include currency manipulation.
