Legal and Activism / 2A and the Election
« on: August 19, 2024, 06:07:14 PM »
Aloha,
For those who don’t know me, I am Kevin J. Cole, the lead volunteer and Front Line Advocate for the NRA in Hawaii.
With primary season over, a slew of candidates will be seeking (re) election, it is important that the 2A community reach out to them and let them hear our voice.
I am asking that your club/group send this note out to your members. At the bottom of the page is a sample of an email that can be used as a guide. Be polite and be firm.
These are the links/guides to the candidates for office and the state and local levels.  Pick the persons from your area and send them a note.
We were successful in defeating so egregious legislation last year. We must not let our guard down this year.
Please feel free to share this note with other Second Amendment supporters.

Aloha,
I am ___. I live in your district.  I wish to make know my concerns over recent legislation adversely affecting Second Amendment Rights.  Too often in the Hawaii legislature, the Second Amendment has not been give the same level of support as other Constitutional Rights.  As citizen, tax payer, and voter, I believe that the Second Amendment is as important as any other right and should be supported in the same manner.

Mahalo,
