....
Nope, not me.

I looked into powder coating and figured out it was faster to use a star lubesizer.
Since you probably need to size the bullet anyway, might as well lube it simultaneously.

I happen to have an extra star lubesizer available for sale if interested.

Well, thank you.
I’m not quite ready yet to go that route but I will certainly keep that in mind! Thanks so much for the offer & info.

Reloading / Powder coat for cast bullets
« on: October 29, 2019, 01:16:49 PM »
I’ve become interested in powder coating my lead cast bullets, seems like it’s just what I need to prevent barrel leading from my softer casts..
But...I’m unable to have the powder coat shipped out here, does anyone know where I can find it on island?
Also, I figure I will be learning via YouTube University and trial & error, has anybody else got some experience doing this?

I’m wondering if AGI has any footprint in Hawaii and if the local market can support another gunsmith? (my term search for the forum revealed that the last time it was mentioned was back in 2011-2012...)

General Discussion / 80% jig...
« on: October 05, 2018, 03:19:42 PM »
3D printers not withstanding...

I’ve decided to drop the hammer on one of the fancy new universal jigs. I’ve heard a lot of good things about 5D Tactical’s Router Jig Pro with their ‘special’, proprietary endmill. Sounds nice but it’s little more expensive. Plus, they haven’t got an endmill for my little router; I would have to drop an extra $100 or so for another one...
The 80% Arms EasyJig gen 2 seems like a better deal. The gen2 has upped its game and as far as I can tell, has caught up with the 5D Tactical offering; I just don’t see spending the extra $$ when I don’t think I need to.
Anybody care to comment on any experience they’ve had?? Suggestions? I want one jig for several platforms, brands, caliber, etc.

Hi, my name is Jim. I live in town and have posted other places online regarding idiotic legislative measures designed impede our 2a rights but I’ve been a bit inactive for a lot of years & was recently liberated from a life-sucking job...I’ve been able to get back out to KHSC a few times and love the feeling of passion returning to my life!

 :wtf:
Just received this email from Harvey, it's very disturbing Hawaii! We need everyone this site to get involved or there will be no more 2aHawaii..

The message received by Senators and Representatives is that gun owners don't have a problem with their rights being reduced.  With the thousands of gun owners in the state, only a few submitted testimony or contacted their legislators in opposition to these bills.  Less than 100 testimonies opposing each bill was submitted, that's less than 1% of all gun owners in Hawaii.  If gun owners continue to be apathetic in a State with some of the most restrictive gun laws, expect to see more of your rights being taken away.

« on: April 18, 2011, 09:25:05 PM »
I'm now in the market for a decent safe...something that could hold about 20 guns, and hold off fire for a 30 mins or more. I was interested in a Liberty but there's no way to get one of the good ones out here. Any of you guys help me out??
