General Discussion / Re: Are Full Auto Pellet Guns Legal Here?
« on: February 28, 2014, 07:50:09 PM »
of course they are.   ;D

this is what i have:

http://www.umarexusa.com/Umarex-Steel-Storm.html

$80 from amazon.  free shipping.
shoots 6 round burst.  but you can convert to full auto.
also has a blow back function so it feels sort of like a recoil.
but i heard it jams more on full auto.  so i left it stock with the 6 round burst.
pretty fun to shoot in the back yard.
uses 2 CO2 cartridges, and can get maybe 150 rounds before switching out the CO2

Sports Authority sells this.

It's not a GSG.

Its made by Umarex.  HK licensed it out to them so it can look more like a real MP5 compared to the GSG.

Oh, and yes it's a .22

Was the gun stolen or just the barrel and case?

The 10/22 in the ad is a misprint.  The one on sale is the wood 10/22.  Not the stainless.

What is it?

The suspense is killing me...

I posted it in the classified section.  Kimber CDP Compact

Will post on another site in a few days if nobody wants it locally.

Thanks for the help guys.

Legal and Activism / Selling a Handgun to someone on the Mainland
« on: September 13, 2011, 05:46:37 PM »
Being in Hawaii, how do I go about selling one of my handguns to someone in the continental US? I'm planning on listing something on an online classified section but I want to know exactly what I need to do before I do so.

I know I would need to send the Handgun to an FFL in the buyers state. Can I send it myself or should I get a local FFL to send it out? If I can send it myself, what's the best way?

Do I need to notify HPD about selling the firearm out of state since it is currently registered under my name?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
