80% becomes 79%; problem solved.  If it's not a gun, then why do you need a background check.....

Chinese mags have no ridge down the back.  And they're all more than 30 years old.

13th Century Poem

"A sickly season," the merchant said,
"The town I left was filled with dead,
and everywhere these queer red flies
crawled upon the corpses' eyes,
eating them away."

"Fair make you sick," the merchant said,
"They crawled upon the wine and bread.
Pale priests with oil and books,
bulging eyes and crazy looks,
dropping like the flies."

"I had to laugh," the merchant said,
"The doctors purged, and dosed, and bled;
"And proved through solemn disputation
"The cause lay in some constellation.
"Then they began to die."

"First they sneezed," the merchant said,
"And then they turned the brightest red,
Begged for water, then fell back.
With bulging eyes and face turned black,
they waited for the flies."

"I came away," the merchant said,
"You can't do business with the dead.
"So I've come here to ply my trade.
"You'll find this to be a fine brocade..."
And then he sneezed.

Yesterday, Stuebs (in Hilo) was out of everything but birdshot and a few forlorn cases of .45ACP.

Sanders first got elected running against an anti-gun Republican.  He used to have an A rating from the NRA.  A friend of mine is fond of saying "If you go far enough to the left, you get your guns back".

Stuebs (in Hilo) had only birdshot and a few forlorn cases of .45ACP when I was there yesterday.  And about half of the guns were gone.  Folks must have applied for permits before The Donald admitted that we might have a problem....

Gold is dropping because (rich) people are selling to cover their stock losses.  Where are we, and why are we in this handbasket?????

Ever take your fancy, battery operated scope out in the rain?  My pig rifle has (only) iron sights, 'cause you can't see through a scope when it's pouring.

How about all the folks who work in various service jobs, but don't make enough money to take time off when they're sick?  This should be interesting......

Rain interacts with the shockwave around the bullet, not the bullet itself.  Since most of the shockwave is behind the bullet, rain pushes it down, causing the tip to go up.  But unless your rifle shoots everything through the same hole, you're not going to notice the effects of rain.  Unless it fogs your scope....

Rain pushes projectiles up, not down.  FWIW.

While the SDS were mostly middle class college kids, the Weather Underground were the children of the ruling class.  And mostly, they never got caught.  Think about that for a moment.....

I put a Magpul pistol grip on mine, mostly to have a place to keep earplugs.  And changed out the rear sight to a GG&G peep.  Fragile optics?  No thanks!
