"Leone, a former Marin County Sheriff's deputy, paused before returning fire. The gunman begged for his life, but Leone emptied his weapon anyway.
"After he shot me, I looked him straight in the eye," said Leone. "He says, 'Don't kill me. Don't kill me... I've got a daughter!' I said, 'f- you ... pow, pow, pow, pow!'"

i could see how this could be used as pretty damning evidence... particularly when it comes directly from Mr. Leone.

perhaps, we might be looking at this show from the wrong perspective?
while watching the show:
1. did you not laugh...... at the bumbling, fumbling, and ineptitude?
2. were you not astonished...... by the epic amount of fail captured on film?
3. were you not saddened...... for the state of the world, in general, and for the lives of some of these individuals, in particular?
4. were you not frightened...... not only by what some of these individuals said, but also for the personal safety of the valiant camera crew?
5. were you not angered...... after the show ended, at having wasted 48 minutes of your life, which you will never get back?
therefore, i respectfully submit to you that this show accomplished its task of 1) eliciting strong emotional responses from you; and 2) providing you with entertainment value that, momentarily, caused you to forget about your day-to-day life.
okay, yeah, i admit that i'm reaching here. please accept my formal apology for ever having created this post... i should be flogged!
