Political Discussion / Re: CEO pay package..wow...

His salary probably represents the "floor" for this position...after all, the next guy is going to come in to put everything right, and that's got to be worth more, right?

No skin off our betters' noses...it's not their money, after all.

I'm more concerned about all those concealed carry permits that he's approved might now be questioned.

Firearms and Accessories / Re: let's talk micro red dots
« on: March 18, 2014, 07:06:23 PM »
Maybe it's just me but I looked at a SPARC (1 not 2) at Sports Authority and I couldn't see a pronounced red circle.  Instead I saw some distorted shape.  I saw a similar distortion through a Primary Arms T-1 replica.  It got me wondering if it's the "cheaper" red dot or just my eyes.  I have yet to look through a T-1, but I'm praying that its dot will look more like a dot in that $650 sight.

I've read a ton of great things about the SPARC, which is why I was planning to buy one for my GSG22, however, now I'm not sure anymore.

And if you'd come into work today, you could have looked through a T-1

No line at 8:15 ... in and out in 5 minutes to submit the paperwork to renew my permit.

OGC Tactical / Re: HUGE SEASONAL SALE FROM 7/25-7/27!

A big mahalo to Eugene and the rest of the staff at OGC for their usual awesome customer service. Eugene helped me acquire my first AK, showing me its features and the differences between the various models. Walked out the door with an Arsenal SGL21 SGL26 which I can't wait to take to the range.

(Edited to reflect the actual rifle I brought home)  :P

General Discussion / Re: Walther .22 5" Barrell Target Pistol "Q" Grip
« on: February 22, 2013, 09:08:45 PM »
I have a P22 with a 5" barrel. Not sure about the Q grip.

Had lots of problems with the Remington Viper. There would be a FTE or stovepipe every 8 or 9 rounds fired. That was when the pistol was brand new. Switched to CCI mini-mags after about 250 rounds of the Viper and had no more problems. Been shooting the mini-mags exclusively ever since. Thinking about trying the Viper again now that there's about a thousand rounds through the pistol to see if they'll work better now.
