Stolen from my residence in Honolulu, rifle was just acquired last week and I really feel that I was targeted somehow because all that was taken was the rifle and 2 empty backpacks, nothing else was touched.  I really just want to put this out there so nobody buys a stolen rifle.  It's not an expensive rifle, certainly not worth a felony record for the thief.

People would still buy guns even though it's stolen, especially criminals! It's not an expensive rifle and not worth the charges to you, but to the thieven criminal who has it now has the upper hand on unarmed citizens. Now we have to worry about someone with a semi auto rifle" not assault rifle!" running around oahu doing criminal activity that could jeopardize our fragile firearm rights...

From what it sounds like they knew were the rifle was in the house and they probably streaked out or knew your schedules. More likely it might be an inside job....

Then again brother good luck, the rifle will turn up eventually, hopefully when it's not to late or at a crime scene.

Have you folks had defective ammo before? I went to the range yesterday fired some rounds from my glock 33 and noticed 2 rounds would not chamber, they kind of stove piped. Then I notice the bullet was pressed too far into the shell. Then I noticed a couple of cases that were split. I also noticed what appeared to be small pieces of shell melted/stuck to the chamber part of my barrel. It cleaned up except for a small speck  1. Is this from defective ammo? 2. I haven't seen any damage but could this have damaged my barrel? 3. How do I clean that melted spec off of my barrel safely. I have already contacted Winchester and am waiting for a reply, should I contact glock too?  Thanks folks!!!

What kind of brand are they? I actually had this happened to me back in Cali, but it was in 45acp 230gr HP and it was in my Colt Wiley Clapp, I contacted lucky gunner and Hornady and they gave me a refund and 250rnd of 45acp ammo. It's not the gun it's the ammo! Sometime they pump out so much ammo out from the demon hole to keep up with high demands that their machines F#%Ks up sometimes.
