Well I work for the government and in doing my job one day come across some info that was very interesting. They've worked out that game hunting, that is duck, quail and deer in my state generated $100million a year. That versus smelly penniless hippies saying eating meat is murder that contribute nothing other than rants and Facebook pages I think the govt thought "hmm I think we've dem backin the wrong team". It's purely the $$$ but I don't mind, whatever it takes hey!

Very true, we had a massacre back in the 90s and after that all the semi autos got taken away and everything else made really strict and gun ownership plummeted. Just last year it made the news that finally gun ownership has risen to pre port Arthur massacre numbers which is great to see. And our state government is now finally not listening to the greenies and anti hunters who contribute nothin but lies and are backing big game hunting as a legitimate form of business

With great difficulty! Nah I think it depends on the state. Ours isn't so bad and the government supports hunting which makes things easy.

General Discussion / G'day from aus

G'day all,
I posted in another thread but now can't find it so thought if do it again.
My name is jack and I'm a hunting guide from Australia. I'm 23 which I think would make me the youngest outfitter in the country though I take that as a compliment. Here I guide on red deer, fallow, chital (axis), rusa, sambar and next year hopefully hog deer as well as tahr and Chamois in NZ.
I'm very keen on coming to Hawaii next year to hunt mouflon ram, probably in the muzzleloader season on public land.
I'm looking for a hunter or guide that would be interested in a hunt swap for something over my way. In addition to deer hunting I can also arrange bird shooting and varminting.
A mature mouflon ram has been at the top of my hunting bucket list since I was a kid and I'd love the opportunity to take one.
If anyone has any helpful information or would be interested in a hunt swap please pm me or email me at jphuntingconsultant@gmail.com

Here are a few pics of my own hunting as well as some guiding.
Cheers,
Jack

G'day all,
Names jack and from Australia. I do guiding down this way on our deer species which include red, fallow, chital (axis), rusa, sambar and hopefully in 2015 hog deer, as well as tahr and chamois in NZ.
Very keen to come over to Hawaii in 2015 to hunt a mouflon ram. Contacted the Hawaii dlnr about the legalities but what I really love is to organise a hunt swap or something along those lines with someone over there for something we have here. I also do duck and varmint shooting here and can offer that up too.
If anyone has any helpful info on how if go about organizing a hunt for a mouflon or if someone is interested in a swap just send me a pm. Look forwRd to following this forum anyway.
Cheers,
Jack

Here are some pics of my own hunting as well as a couple of guiding.
Enjoy.
