Does anyone know if they sell ammo and AR lower receivers at these shows?

I am also a holder of a NYS hunter's education card. They'll accept it. I just came back from HPD and asked.

Hi guys,

I'm a New Yorker and I'll be moving to Honolulu pretty soon in a few months. I've lived in Honolulu for a few years a while ago and I now I'll be back for good. I wasn't a shooter then but I am now and I am interested in keeping my hobby and birth right alive. I'm a NRA member and an advocate of our second amendment rights. In NYC I had to pay $430 for my handgun and $230 for my long gun licenses for 3 years. They also took about 4 months each to process. We can't have ARs or AKs in NYC so it'll be nice to have access to those and also cheaper and short times to get licensing. I can't wait to get back and start shooting!

Hi everyone,

I'll be moving to Honolulu very soon from NYC and I have a New York State hunter's education card. Does anyone know if this would satisfy my requirement firearm safety when I apply for my handgun?

I am not too familiar with the requirements here (I did read the FAQ post). I didn't need it in NYC when I got my HG permit but I did need to pay $430 to apply and wait 115 days to get approved, so I am glad it is much cheaper and shorter of a wait to get your license in HI.

Do people apply for both their hand gun and long gun permits at the same time? I hope to apply for both at the same time.

Thanks in advance for any help!  :shaka:
